They don't need to do it either.
The only reason I enchant swords for my sorc is the nice flame/frost/shock/whatsoever animation which I like.2 -

Erraln✭✭✭✭✭I like to put Shock on mine for the look of it.
It makes the most sense, too, as the only time you're likely to throw that melee Light Attack is when you're already executing, and want a little ultimate regen for the next encounter. Another lightning hit at that time carries an increased chance for Disintegration, but it's not high enough of a chance to worry about not having. 0 -
