TL;DR Worse than Nerien’eth (does ~50% of the damage)
I’ll share my evaluation of the Maw of the Infernal set

This image was taken without any CP assigned. The 2 piece tooltip damage increases when points are put into Thaumathurge but this is a visual bug as the damage of the summoned Daedroth does not change. The summoned Daedroth has 41947 Health and 0 Physical resistance. It is treated as a pet in that it takes significantly reduced AoE damage (around 15% of unmitigated AoE damage). Its damage is not increased by Elemental Expert or Thaumathurge. It seems to inherit the caster’s critical but I wasn’t sure whether it was my spell critical or weapon critical. The Daedroth does not inherit the caster’s critical modifier and has the base critical modifier of 0.5. The Daedroth has three moves: Fiery Breath, Jagged Claw and Fiery Jaw. The base unmitigated damage of these attacks are 3100, 4257 and 3383 respectively. Fiery Breath checks against spell resistance while Jagged Claw and Fiery Jaw check physical resistance. Fiery Breath and Fiery Jaw deal Fire damage. Jagged Claw does Physical damage. Fiery Breath is an AoE that hits up to five times (unless the Daedroth dies/desummons beforehand). The other two attacks are single target attacks. The Daedroth is reasonably mobile and can quickly resume its attack even after being knock backed. The caster’s spell/physical penetration (both percentage and flat) are not taken into account. The Daedroth does benefit from armour reduction debuffs such as Major Fracture/Breach. The summoning animation takes around 1-2 seconds so the Daedroth will typically attack for 11-13 seconds.
I used Light Attacks on Slimecraw in normal Wayrest Sewers to summon a Daedroth and recorded the number of times it did each of its attacks. I also used Inner Fire to give the Daedroth a chance to damage Slimecraw without getting knocked back. Over 35 Daedroth summons, it performed 7.4 Fiery Breaths, 2.3 Jagged Claws and 1.5 Fiery Jaws, on average. This means the Daedroths average damage on a 0 resistance target is
Note that the caster’s critical chance is assumed to be 65%. Based on a geometric distribution (as described in
Molag Kena and Nerien’eth) I estimate that the median number of Light attacks to proc Maw of the Infernal is
Assuming 0.5 Light Attacks per second, it would take 27 seconds on average to summon a Daedroth. Since only one Daedroth can be up at once, this means the 2 piece Maw of the Infernal set corresponds to an unmitaged average DPS of 1192 (50092 [Average Damage] / (27s [Median time to proc] + 15s [Duration of Daedroth]).
The average unmitigated DPS provided by the Maw of the Infernal set is substantially worse than a Sorcerer using a typical Force Pulse rotation and Nerien’eth which provides ~2300 unmitigated average DPS. Additionally since the Daedroth does not benefit from the caster’s critical modifier its performance is even worse if an Aggressive Warhorn is used and should not be used with Twice-Born Star. The only redeeming features are that the Daedroth can take boss agro, is reasonably mobile and looks pretty awesome.
