    vigor for everyone, proxy det for everyone. Perhaps they might actually do something about that crappy skill then.

    20% magic dmg reduction, 10% crit dmg reduction, 0 impen, hits for 12k+

    additionally 5x impen, still hits for 10k+

    this reduction dmg deto by 15% after patch will be unnoticeable
    + thi elemental with magic dmg in 1 tree...just boos for magica build with dmg

    ok, stamina builds getting poison with psyhical now....but stamina builds still have crap magic dmg skills...in this ulties not worth in contrast to magica builds.

    for example assasination will from nb...on magica build max geared I hitting with it for 35k+ when on stamina build this ist more than 22k hit because magic dmg and spell pentration with it?
    death stroe ulti...maybe for 19k+- in pve on stamina...on magica build it hitting above 25k for me
    all skills scaling to stamina and delaing magic dmg....just impairs stamina builds.

    Jeesh. Look the skills are different Stamina and Magicka are different. The biggest different isnt the offensive skills its the defensive ones. Shields are the most powerful defensive skills in this game and Magicka owns them. Magicka players are going to defend their oh so successful combo against the steel tornado. They have to because if they don't they think they will be nerfed. In fact they know that they are on the verge of a HUGE shield stacking nerf so you have be easy with them right now. They are volatile. Steel tornado is powerful and is also getting a nerf today. However the fact is we are talking about burst. In pvp players counter. They refresh shields they receive heals and they chug a potion. You are right someone spamming steel tornado will have more sustained damage. But I have time in those eight seconds of him spamming it to do any of the things I mentioned above and get back in the fight. The op who can't spells point with the proxy plus ultimate plus heavy attack combo was that this damage hits all at once and is instant KO. Magicka builds you all run it if you have it. All of you. You know its successful its why there are so many of you. I am not mad at you I realize that stamina builds can be powerful too but stop it. Its a great combo for more than just the numbers its good because its burst its unexpected and you can do other things in the eight seconds while proxy is cooking.

    you cant gtfo with steel tornado on small scale pvp, 1vs1 etc...its just pug zerg skill and thats all, you dont have anything to compare pug zerg sekill to normall skill for all possible sitatons on pvp whats are these shields and other single target/self skills when deto is also perfect for 1vs1 fights lol

    Steel tornado is actually really good small scale, drop a meteor + spin or bats + spin puts a lot of pressure on a small group.

    Let me tell YOU about a non secret secret. My v16 sorc/nb can streak/lotus fan into groups of 10 with proxy + ult + vicious death set and wipe them all. Your stamina NB who thinks he has proxy will ambush in and then eat 4 frags/wbs/steel nados and be dead by the time he gets to kill more than 1 player....... Bad advice is bad. Zerg busting builds work because they do *** tons of damage in a very short duration. Ie: det>cloak>louts fan>soul tether>spam AOE etc. All of this can happen within 2-3 seconds because proxy is pre-loaded burst. Just cast it and wait for ard 5-6 seconds before engaging. Isnt very hard to do. People act like they actually wait for 8 seconds while fighting enemy players. Good players dont. They hide and engage when proxy is almost gona pop.

    The only comparable alternative for stam to the new vicious death + proxy bursts is batswarm + steel nado which isnt nearly half as good due to CP realignment while batswarm is magic and using it on a a stam build means u get 25% less damage due to your points being in mighty. More importantly, vicious death is a magicka set. The issue isnt proxy det. The issue is mag builds get proxy AND vicious death AND 99% of aoe ultimates are mag based (and now meteors arent even reflectable zz). Its the combination of these things that make magicka the new Zerg busting meta now.

    So whats the fix u ask? make vicious death build neutral. Should be able to be used by both mag and stam. Make some decent AOE ults for stam too. Problem solved.

    I just wanted to mention somthing someone said in another thread that was a very good idea to fix proxi.

    Make proxi work like grim focus. After applied, it much be reactivated to explode. With this change you could not queue up burst in 1v1 scenarios so easily since it would require activation.

    In aoe situations you would have to activate it then your ult. So their is more reaction time inbetween for counter measures.

    I really like this idea personally.

    To start with, Steel Tornado is (not sure since 2.3 nerf?) possibly the best AOE spammable skill.
    Some builds are built around that skill and are very successful.

    I know that Bat/Devouring Swarm is a Vamp skill and can easily be used by any builds,
    but the deadliest AOE combo I've seen (many times too!) is probably:
    Bat Swam + Steel Tornado. (often right after caltrops)

    That thing is just deadly! Now imagine if that said Stamina player also added a stamina detonation with it. :|



    If Stamina builds can have a Stamina Detonation morph,
    -I want a Magica Steel Tornado morph(Lightning Tornado? lol)
    -And a magica Caltrop...
    -And a Magica Vigor...
    -And a Magica Retreating Maneuver
    -And a Magica Wrecking Blow.
    -And how about Magica Focused Aim while were at it? :p

    Also, let's not forget Magic Det. is the only really usefull skill in the Assault line for magica builds.

    Even better would be one resource called "damage" and one resource called "mobility". Every skill would scale of the first one, while everything like dodge/sprint/block would scale of the other.

    -lel, caltrops are more for zergs to easily get ap from kills xd
    -magica vigor...gg lol, I played mainly stamin but after patch magica...shieldheal from resto is better from me + class dps skills asle heal on magica builds ;d
    -for what speedbuffs scale to off magica? xd this is nonsense...you have enough stamina on mall magica builds to cast it out of combat ;d in combet its pretty usless they you are fighting
    wrecking blow...you have 1st skill in destro staff with inferno staff, not that huge damage but also very good cc with dot, for only cc its same for me + additionaly dot what is also so good for me, dots cant be dodged

    -magica focused aim....ok if you give on bow 28m range skill with knockback instead of magnum shot or other morph like in destro staff + give us all from magic dps-heal skills for stam, templar jabs dealing damage and healing only on magica morph, swallow souls nb dealing dmg and also healing onlty on magica, dk 1 dot (dont remember name) dealing dmg and healing also only on magica morph + morphs to almos all ultimates with psyhical damage scale to scale it also with CP

    nah...now magica is so overpowered than stam....I have now much better burst with surviavbility in 1 on magica on pve and pvp than on squishy nondk stam build, for me now all stam build are crap except dk with only good class skill to survive this

    Read my post. I've explained why I don't need a stam morph for proxy but what else can be done to bring stamina in line with mag. The problem isn't proxy. The problem is 90% of ultis are mag and that vicious death is only for mag. Also steel nado and bat swarm requires you to stay alive for a good 5-10 seconds. Against most decent players your gona be dead before you can say boo yah and hit steel nado 2 times. Whereas for mag it's so ridiculously strong with things like proxy>lotus fan>soul tether + Aoe with vicious death all can happen within a few seconds and even before people can react.

    Also and seriously? In a game where 90% of the morphs belong to magicka you want even more? I can list the useful stamina morphs in one paragraph. It's just Wb, exec, steel nado, flying blade, rally, vigor, caltrops, gap closers and snipe. That's pretty much about it unless ur a nb in which case SA.

    That was sarcasm on my part (wishing for all those skills to have a Magicka Morph).

    I mean, personally, I like the way the system in place works:
    -Class skills use all magica (with a few stamina morphs)
    -All weapon skills, except staffs uses Stamina

    I completely agree that they could add a few stamina morphs to a few class. Especially if you look at classes other than Nb, they have very few stamina Morph. (Sorc have 1, DK have 2, Templar have 3 and NB have 4)

    But to get back on topic, I don't think that Magica Det should have a stamina morph, at all!
    If only to be better to fight Zerg, I don't buy it. Stamina builds are fine as is, in my opinion.

    Now, I haven't seen the impact of the VD set yet as I'm on PS4. I guess it has a pretty big impact, therefore, Stamina build should maybe have some similar set and I wouldn't be surprise if they do in the next DLC.
