    I only disagree with your last sentence, @Satiar , which is entirely the point.

    When Cyrodiil works (i.e. no lag, competitive map, good opponents, etc.) it is almost a sublime experience. Cyrodiil is beautiful, fun, challenging, rewarding. Despite all the flaws at launch it was clear that this was the case. Review after review praised the AvA zone and content while disparaging the PvE content.

    Yet we stand here two years later. Cyrodiil has almost been completely neglected in favor of PvE content. And the PvE content is still a joke! There is one trial. ONE! Everything except that trial, VMA, and ICP is face-to-keyboard easy, i.e. 99% of the PvE content. On the other hand, PvP players have amused themselves readily with no content additions which is a testament to how good Cyro PvP is at its core. In fact, we don't really ask for much except minor balance tweaks along the way and small content additions to go with (new outputs, capturable areas, etc.). Do you know how long it takes to finish Wrothgar zone? <10hrs. Thieves Guild? <10hrs. Then you're stuck with stupid repeatable fetch quests long abandoned in the 90s. If they added a new tower in between Roe and Brindle by god I would fight there all weekend! I would take the scroll there!

    Sigh. The writing is on the wall, and has been for at least a year. Once CU beta drops we're all gone anyway. Hell, go watch the class description video released yesterday. Amazing.

    I have a better understanding of the developers' vision for classes in a game that is still in alpha than I do in ESO.

    Class balance, itemization, combat and the meta as a whole - just a quick look at the forums show how monumentally pissed off and disappointed most of the playerbase is. We even TOLD wrobel and wheeler what this meta would end up looking like months in advance. How is it possible for the players to have so much more comprehension and foresight than the lead developers? Normally I'd blame it all on wrobel, but wheeler gets blame for this fiasco too with the combo of siege, forward camps, and lack of objectives catalyzing wrobel's asinine balance work into a gigantic Zerg v Zerg stack at a single keep.

    I read the thread. Yes, its not VD. My point was the because health de-sync is still a problem, it doesn't matter from Alcasts PoV: he still died from seemingly nowhere.

    Please excuse me. I read the m as medium for whatever reason. My Magicka NB uses Retreating Maneuver and I run with a decent pool of Stamina. Cloak doesn't help much in the big fights and I don't slot any other movement buffs.

    Yes, health desyncs are a major problem. No question. That has nothing at all to do with VD though. VD did not proc @ 50%, nor did it kill him.

    Well they gave us steak to make up for the lack of mobility! ;)

    Seriously though, streak is next to worthless after this patch - hit the key, either nothing happens or it goes off anywhere between 5-10 seconds later and puts me some place I don't want to be. Rapids certainly don't help much anymore. So the last option is dodge-rolling, and, being a sorc and all, I can do 2 of those before my entire stam pool is gone. :/

    What sucks is that this games wants the following in order:

    1) lag/performance fixed
    2) end game pve and additional objectives in cyro/IC
    3) class balance.

    Aside from one new trial and a few skills changes to match consistency, we received nothing. Yes there were lag fixes and performance updates but a large chunk of ESO can't play due to video card issues.

    Lag was the reason I unsubscribed this month. And we can all agree we could stomach other issues so long as we can have launch-style responsiveness in pvp/pve performance.

    This is the new AP farmer's dream.

    It takes no skill.

    There is nothing to differentiate a good player from any random person who can do the above.

    Best post I've seen in a while. The number of snares/stuns in this game is ridiculous and the game becomes more unresponsive with every patch. I've been playing since beta and PvP is more annoying than fun right now. Feels like I spend more time dealing with load screens and crashes than playing.

    Remove detonation in any form - replace with buff to aoe scaling on 3+ ppl hit.
    Halve all snare in the game.
    Implement a root immunity (different from normal cc immunity).
    Fix all the broken abilities.

    It's not like any the of soft CCs are new though. The only difference now is that it's not trivial for a couple of players in a group to spam rapids and purges. A common question lately has been, "does this take skill?" Did blowing off all soft CCs and siege with 3 abilities take skill?

    Where were all the complaints about soft CCs when they were used to run over pugs and casuals every night? Or during the entirety of the FOTM DK era?

    It's weird for me to see DKs and Sorcs complain about AE stuns and immobilizations. The mantra used to be "L2P noob". Well, this is what happened.

    I love this patch and just want them to fix the bugs.
    Sorcerna, proud beta sorc. RIP April 2014 to May 31 2016 DArk Brotherhood. Out of retirement for negates and encases. Sorcerna will be going back into retirement to be my main crafter Fall 2018. Because an 8 k shield is f ing useless. Died because of baddies on the forum. Too much qq too little pew pew. 16 AD 2 DC. 0 EP cause they bad, CP 2300 plus 18 level 50 toons. NA, PC, Grey Host#SORCLIVESMATTER actually they don’t or they wouldn’t keep getting nerfed constantly.
