Cant get game to load

Hi
So I just bought an imac and I am trying to download the game. I downloaded the install.eso.zip off the account page. I go to launch it and I get a The elder scrolls online has quit unexpectedly. It never loads the launcher.
Any ideas.

✭✭Does your Mac have a Retina display? If so, please check out this thread. There is a link to the original solution of installing ESO in a HiDPI Retina environment in post #2. The installer is a third party app that relies on its own, older outdated Java runtime environment (i.e., it won't be used by the system for anything else) that has trouble determining the size of the display for its splash screen.
