i was actually thinking about a build just like that in 1.7 but didnt bother to test it out. Using harness to proc the armour master. Let me know how it goes !

I thought about this build, too. Not sure if the armor bonus is worth the amount of damage you give up.
i do fine against average sorcs and NBs with this build. I feel like this build is trying to make the best of the *** situation we have been put in.

Holy hell am I slow.
If you don't get the rotation/buffs going properly, you are super squishy.
Even with block cost enchants, your stam still melts away.
But, when its all going well vs groups of 4-8, pinning them and getting 1-2 others to hit them is fun and effective.
And I've found the talons/petrify/whip combo to be effective 1on1.
With some tweaks, and maybe switching for heavy Kags, this has some promise.

Not really. In a couple of 1v1 I have noticed I couldn't quite finish them off because of no gap closer but usually it's no issue. If you time your CCs you can keep them near you. Invasion is too much stam to burn and chains has no CC so it's a wasted slot so not really an option to run a gap closer.

Thats the only issue I had with 1v1 so far too. If they run, theyre gone. But between talons and petrify, I was keeping them in one place long enough to whip/dot them down.
