I once PUGed a Group Finder pledge with a VR16 who did nothing except spam light attacks with the bow.

✭✭✭✭✭NoI voted no, but I wouldn't be entirely opposed to it if it had the following restrictions:- You are only eligible to purchase a VR16 character (really it would be level 50 since vet ranks are going away in a few months) if you already have a VR16 character of the same class.
- You don't get any gear with it - just the same stuff you get when you start a new level 3 character that skipped the tutorial.
- The only skill points you have are the ones for the levels. Nothing that you would have earned from skyshards, quests, dungeons, etc.
- All of your skill lines are at level 1 as if you were a new level 3 character who skipped the tutorial.
- Your character has a title "Bought Max Level". This title cannot be changed.
OK, the last restriction I guess I could be flexible on...

I think I am at v13 after 2 weeks power leveling and also having a lot of fun with op low level builds. For example lvl 46 with gold staff and 3x arcane willpower on the non vet server, so over 4K spell damage. Then at v12 and v13 got martial knowledge and julianos mix for 3.8k spell damage. Replaying main quest and some other quests is fun, but still wish I didn't make The mistake choosing the terrible dark elf race when I started. All my crafting and lore books and shards is on my ugly dark elf

For the love of all that's carpal tunnel, please. Running around in circles killing the same mobs over and over again is not exactly my idea of fun. Nor is doing the same exact quests over again for the 3rd+ time.
What I do find fun is running dungeons, trials, pledges and mostly PvP. All of which is 100% more fun at max level.
With the current leveling meta it takes at least 20+ hours of game time to reach max level. Assuming you have a grind spot all to yourself, with a partner, while using XP scrolls or potions. I would much rather use those 20 hours murdering people in Cyrodiil.
Also, listen, I don't want easy mode anything. Some of us actually enjoy the "end-game" content in ESO and don't have the time to level a new character to VR16. Not to mention then spending all the time leveling Undaunted, Mages Guild and Fighters guild. Would much rather have a VR16 off the bat and then spend time grinding those skill lines.
Suppose this is a moot point in a few months regardless. As VR levels will be removed and leveling to 50 doesn't take more than a few hours. Would have enjoyed this option to have been added in months ago though.1 -

Zorrashi✭✭✭✭✭NoIf this game was like WoW, with its constant level expansions and increased grinding hours--maybe I could budge. In WoW it is all but required to get the level pack if you want to go to the zones that are actually populated. Going without would mean going through the grindfest that is their 10+ years worth of content and expansions.
But as it is, ESO is much more tame by comparison when it comes to reaching max level. Not to mention that VRs will soon be scrapped for an all out CP system.0 -
