Why would they possibly want to do that - they sell mount training in the crown store - if you feel the pain, this will make you more likely to buy training from the crown store, so this is intended.

All I can think of regarding inventory is that the quest trophies will be moved from your inventory to the collections menu.
About making mount progress account wide, I doubt that. It would cut on crown store sales. But really, it is already much more user friendly than it was back in launch - You were only able to upgrade a horse 50 times and the horses were character-locked. You couldn't max all 3 attributes on a single horse.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

✭✭Knowing how ridiculous patches are to download would probably be a longer download. I expect it to take a few hours but hopefully since the area is smaller and they are only adding npcs, and adding ability changes it will be shorter.

✭✭✭✭✭Experienced MMO players will know better than to look to play ESO tomorrow, thereby avoiding all the frustration of waiting an indeterminate amount of time for the servers to come up, the extended downloading time as everyone tries to get the patch at the same time, and then the mass rush to the new content with consequent lag and server stress etc. It's not a race, the Thieves Guild will still be there the next day, and patch day is always a great day to get other stuff in life done.4 -
