Not enough CC in my opinion and you really don't need that much hp. I usually try and get it to 30k.

If you need more inspiration you can look at that. Different set ups and stuff.

You can't really use Vigor as a tank imho, not enough stamina\wd and too much health to have a good heal out of it, even with Igneous Shield.

Orgnum scales is also questionable, I'd suggest running the good old Hist Bark with Footman's and Bloodspawn\Engine Guardian. Put one glyph on block reduction and two on magic recovery on the jewelry.
All health attributes, 5 heavy, 1 medium, 1 light all reinforced, atronach mundus and all gear enchanted on stamina.

With v15 tristat food you should have at least 30+k health, ~20k stam and 15k+ magicka (wich may change accordingly to your race). around 1500 magic recovery wich translates in stamina when you block cast Igneous Shield.

    Skillwise I'd go double 1h\shield.
Mainbar: Ransack, Coagulating Blood, Hardened Armor, Igneous Shield, Defensive Stance ULT: Aggressive Horn\Corrosive Armor
Offbar: Inner Fire, Flex*, Choking Talons, Flex*, Extended Chains ULT: Standard of Might

For the flex spots it really depends on the fight, You want to use Low Slash, Draw Essence, Eruption or Burning Embers, whatever seems useful.

CP; Block Expertise, Heavy Armor Focus and Spell Shield for the reds, Magician and Arcanist for the greens, Blessed and Elemental Expert for the blues.

    My Veteran Level Toons:
    Zemska - Breton NightBlade [DC]
    Riiful - Imperial DragonKnight [DC]
    Nikole - Breton Sorcerer [DC]
    Mashu - Bosmer NightBlade [DC]
    Helise - Breton Templar [DC]
    Syosetsuka - Imperial Sorcerer [DC]
    Majken - Altmer Dragonknight[DC]

I'm back after 3 months yoh.

Silly question maybe but a whileago I heard people suggesting tanking in medium armour master on dk for more damage and sustain management, has anyone tried this out and if so how was it? Just wondering as in a couple of weeks I'll be able to make a set and don't want to waste the materials.

One thing I have yet to change with my build post is that I have actually started to use Vigor. As a stamina based tank with ~30k stamina I can use it very often and still keep up both taunt and block. Using every synergy in sight does help a lot with getting stamina back and spamming igneous shield as often as is allowed helps as well. During big AoE encounters or Trash pulls or bosses with lots of non tauntable attacks I have found that Igneous shield+Coagulating blood+Echoing Vigor not only helps me a lot but the team as well. That with 47p in to Blessed makes it so many of my healers can help more with DPS and a healer helping more with dps is way better than a tank trying to do the same.

As well I will always remind people that unless you make a build where you consistently let go of the block or simply block as little as possible there are no reasons to stack up on a bunch of resists, and adding footman to a build that focuses on resists is a waste of a 5p bonus. The diminishing returns on mitigation are to high for it to be worth a 5p slot. BUT if you do let go of block a lot or block as little as possible then yes go with as high resists as you can but Hist Bark and footman is not the way to go to get that. Armor Master and other sets will help a lot more. You could as well if you manage your stamina right use Armor Master with Evasion for both the hist bark buff and Armor Master buff.

It could work and probably helps a lot with sustain and damage but I'm just gonna say I would not want to set my foot in Maw of Lorkharj with Medium armor, sure I said to much resist is not that helpful if you block a lot but to little is still bad. Sure there might be those that can but I prefer to be on the save side in there, those mobs and bosses might not hit as hard as the Mantikora but they hit FAST. Also I never like the idea of medium or light armor tanks. Though it would be cool if there were more ways to speed tank, like the Warriors do in Tera. You used to be able to stack hist bark, evasion and eruption back when it had miss chance, but sadly no more.

I think until I see some evidence of it working or failing I will try it for myself. If I'm honest Paul I don't have high hopes for it but it could be fun even if I can just use it as a speed run pledge set.
