Respec to remove the champ points. Take off the set gear or just run it without gear.
If we make low level areas harder for veteran players who can roflstomp content because of champ points, set gear, glyphs on armor, pots and food, not to mention already knowing the content which new players don't have access to or just don't know about yet, newer players will quit in frustration.
This is not good for the longevity of the game.
You however do have enough knowledge to make it more challenging for yourself.

Well,I'm glad you arent one of the Devs then.Lower level players deserve to learn to play and to want to take that from them is both selfish and ridiculous.

Yea, but this thread isnt really talking about lower level stuff. Its all well and good to learn, but when there is no signifigant learning curve outside of group instances, there is a problem.

you quote some one who was saying run in rando gear and no CP. but show you at V16 in what i can only assume is an instance that has been scaled up to your level? with full gear set (skoria etc). and fully morphed skills and all you passives and CP
firstly the scaling up of what ever instance you're in only increases mob health and maybe damage. They aren't going to spawn more mobs. So the difficulty is set for someone without every passive in game and no CP and not as many skills to chose from probably no good self heal and certaily not in purple/gold armor.
its like the difference between running a normal maelstrom at level 3 with only the contents of your cold harbor sack and 3 skills, and running it at level 30 in purple gear. you go from fighting for your life to 1 shot crit rushing everything. that is the scale of difference that they have to design for and that is why you wearing top end gear all passives and CP is going to nto be challenged. and there is no way to make it challenging.
TL;DR your video shows nothing wrong with scaling only what is wrong with your expectations of scaling.

Those posts are also irrelavent to the subject at hand. They can try to make it about new players to the game, but the op wasnt talking about new player content. And even if you consider normal wgt and icp to be new player content even though they are top tier normal dungeons, the op is talking about scaling. Not arbatraraly making things dificult for newbies.

The OP talked about doing dungeons on lowbies for skill points. "Lowbie" to most people means < lvl 30 so basicly newbie land. I doubt lowbies are doing vet dungeons or icp/wgt.

No, thats open world.
Same goes for Dolemans. The more people there, the harder the NPC's and more of them. These are easily solo'd and pretty much a joke when your at max level. The only issue I have with a Dolmen my level is whether I'm going to get ganked by a blue or red while doing one in Cyro. Anyplace else they are soloable with ease.

They are irrelavent because scaling usually describes a system of adjustment that specifically acounts for an advantage. Their concerns are valid but irrelavent because the scaling would not affect them.
What im doing thats relavent is trying to keep the discussion on track, and not have it get sidetracked by things not affected by the scaling.

you can keep to your stance all you like, but it is still detracting from the thread. You are free to discuss all you want, and i am free to call you out on it.Fair enough...im just saying it would be cool if they made some sort of sliding difficulty bar like in D3
