character and mount dissappeared after client "repair" - 8th Feb.

I went to log in on my PC on monday 8th in the afternoon and ESO said my client was invalid or outdated. the only thing that fixed it was to tell the patcher to do a "repair". I did this and it reset all my game settings, as if I had started a new install. I logged in and the game told me to create a character. I created a fake one to get over this step. My old character is gone. all I see now is the fake one. I loged in with my new character and the mount I had bought with crowns is gone also. The crowns spent arent there either.
I didnt delete anything...

I have contacted support but a week later I still havnt received any sign of life from them.
Since I spent real money on the crowns I feel this is not just an inconvenience. I feel ripped off.

Has anybody had this problem? Do you have a solution??

Try logging in to one of the other servers. It's possible that you opened the PTS by accident, or maybe were previously logging into NA and are now logging into EU (or vice versa). Even if you thought you were logging into one, it's possible the launcher was buggy and was actually putting you in the other.

check out this article on reddit. When my daughter installed eso she picked the EU megaserver. After install the launcher and everything else said she was on the EU server but the game had actually dumped her on the NA server. If you need to change servers this may help.

Its what you both said...
I installed the NA client and there was my character, even though I had never chosen to use the NA server.
He is only level 10, so no big deal, but I will contact support about getting the crowns refunded. I dont want to play on the NA server, its laggy and I often get disconnected.

Hey @Nekorr I create on Eu, cant login, clicked repair and landed on Na also my crwon articles. atfer 3 month writing with the support the send me my 2500 crowns back... so i wish you good luck and spam the support tickets and tell them that many people got the problem and they helped them.

@Vegetation , Yes thats exactly what happened to me.
Thanks for the Advice, I just hope it wont take 3 months.
