What in the world was ZOS thinking about putting 1 class in this game with a skill line for heals, and a resto staff for all classes....

I can think of many ways to be a tank in this game class/weapons/builds, not to mention all the ways to dps. So why the crap r heals in this game so dang limited to 1 class mainly. and 1 type of heals being the resto staff skill line.

Restoration Staff = The Staff that magically keeps your asses alive.
Templar = The Class that magically keeps your asses alive and buff your little numbers into big numbers.

    PTS Live:

Templar = The Class that has been *** up twice in both ends by ZoS.
Restoration Staff = The Staff that has finally gained buff so that other classes will be on par with templar.

    That's what I believe.

Anyway, Healing is not limited to 1 class(Templar) any class can heal.
If I die tomorrow I do not want to think of the game I could of played today, therefor I will play whatever I want today while securing a future to play in as well.

A true gamer will think of all the possible outcomes and execute the one that is the hardest to accomplish.

Yeah i agree Mr.hmm But the thing is, that every class should have complete healing skill line like the templar, cause lets face it this is the most limited mmo ever with the trinity in place of course as far a healer is concerned.

I wouldn't say a whole skill line, but really it's time to expand the skill morph system to include healing morphs for all classes, stamina counterparts, etc.

The point of having 4 different classes is so there is a difference in skills and passives.

The point of having 4 different classes is so there is a difference in skills and passives.

Wrobel made a good point during ESO Live. When a player is creating a character for the first time, they are probably not sure what classes are good for what roles. They can make some assumptions, but they might not even know what roles they want to play.

So, they have a design goal such that the player is not locked out of roles they may be interested in. This is why the classes seem like they overlap a lot. They do.

Still, they do not want homogeneous classes. There has to be a difference. It appears that the design idea for keeping it this way is how a class performs and what options the class has for a role. They are OK with situations where build decisions may be more or less effective in a role. Players can do the role with a build, but they might not be the best at doing that role with that particular build.

So, Templars are, and will continue to be, the go-to class for healing, but they should also be able to tank and do damage. Meanwhile, the other classes can do some healing and are not locked out of the role of healing.

This is a very fine line to walk, if you ask me.

I am just going by what was said on ESO Live.

All classes can do any role they desire to do, they will just have strengths and weaknesses.

Templar are and will be the preferred class for healer role, as long as templars have so many support abilities. That doesn't mean that other classes can't be good healers. Some classes can in certain situations heal much better than templars, however they can't support their teams as good as a templar.

ZOS is slowly making other classes heal for example DK has some healing morphs. This game is different than other MMOs.

Like this game you choose the the class you wanted and you can tweak it with different weapon and class skills.

This game is elder scroll it is unique to have classes to function in many different ways.

But either way now a days (once main patches role and balance the classes ) in is always one class only does this build while this class only does that build so on and so fourth.

True, all roles can be managed by every class, some classes are just better suited for a specific role.
