    Good change, imo.
Should we see more DKs in the future, meteors would become a suicide pill and cause even further lag.
Just block it, like you have to do with other ults.

Reading through the patch notes, got to the meteor part, immediately checked the General forums and immediately knew that was exactly what this post was about. 100% agree, this is terrible.

Meteor is a high-damage, single target AoE (???) ability with a ground-based DoT component. Other single-target AoE abilities, like Dragon Knight Leap, can have their damage avoided entirely with a dodge roll. If I'm taking the time to slot one of the few reflective skills in the game, I want some bang for my buck, such as countering this super-high-powered ability. If not reflectable, PLEASE at least make it dodgeable!! I don't want to be spending the next few months on live just soaking in meteor after meteor because there's no defense against it.

Like for real here, the meteor spam is already so high on NA PC AZ, and the only thing saving my guild from facing coordinated meteor drops (like 15+ meteors all in a couple of seconds) is that we were able to have a couple people run reflect-based utility builds to counter it. Turns out that nobody wants to drop 15 meteors on a group all at once when they know that most of them will be reflected back. Now we still get hit by 15+ meteors (and the ensuing fall damage bugs), but we have the time to recover from it and do our thing. If this change goes live, we're going to see more meteors than the dang Cretaceous period.

But if there cloaking the dots won't actually dmg them.

Also why can't nb's just purge like every other class has too.

Good? Now nb's will have to slot a purge skill like every other class instead of just not even bothering with dots and just purge them without even trying to.

Purge only removes like 2 at a time and it's not a cheap skill to use. To remove say 5 or 6 yea draining magicka.

I would be fine with this change if

1, a nightblade could no longer use cloak to neutralize incoming meteor
2, a sorcerer could no longer use ball of lightning to neutralize incoming meteor.

If it is meant to always hit, make it always hit. As it is now, only the specific DK method of dealing with it got nerfed, while the rest remained. That seems... odd.

There are already full guild raids synchronising meteor drops on enemy groups which was bad enough then add in the fall damage on top was stupid, now add in they can't be reflected and it's about to become a whole lot worse, if you were throwing a meteor into a group you should run the risk of getting it back in your face,

Not sure where the thinking came from on this one

It's an ultimate ( and a hard to get one! !) Shouldn't have been able to reflex in the first place

Then it should be avoidable, like every other ultimate. It cannot be dodged, outrun, or anything else, reflect is the only way to counter it right now. This change makes it unique in that it's guaranteed to hit, strikes for great damage in an area, AND leaves a DoT, AND CC's! Having it be reflectable was not only really cool, but a fair tradeoff for such a powerful ultimate. Plus it's not like being someone having a reflect up guarantees a successful reflect. You can eat away at their reflect pool with any other targeted ranged attack. So even if you're up against DKs all spamming wings, if you have people firing off something as simple as a bow light attack you can still increase your odds of hitting. This change takes it way too far, I think.

It's not dumb considering how strong of an ultimate it is. If it's not reflectable, then it should also be dodgeable. If this goes live then you can just hit someone with it, end of story. No getting out of it, only getting out of the DoT component. It's way too strong like this.

No, all morphs stop DoTs (shadow cloak is the base skill):

Shadow Cloak: This ability and its morphs will now suppress damage over time effects that are already applied to the caster while the invisibility is active.
The damage over time will remain, but will tick for 0 damage if you are invisible, and will tick for the normal damage if you come out of invisibility.

Also note the plural in "effects"...
