I never said you would have to give proof to us - I just recommended that you are prepared and have good arguments when you talk to ZOS officials, otherwise this will not get resolved. And it might not even be an offense, but just gameplay which is inside the rules. Just because you guys are unable to get traders is not an offense, if it is not a hack or something. I meant well, when I suggested that to you - and want you to reconsider, if this is maybe just market pvp and not an actual threat. That you feel uncomfortable with it, does not make it a threat.

Edit to be honest, this looks to me like a market model, which resembles that of House Hlaalu, this is exactly how they work as well. so it might not be more than gameplay in a TES-like way.

They do it in the middle of the night, there is risk but so much reward. It also hides the winning bid (which we should be able to hide anyway).

I would outbid them on every stall, even my rp guild would have a trader. Then I would sell nothing in said stalls just to make a point. But then again, I don't respond well to laughable threats from pre-teens and neckbeards in my inbox. How did it even get to this point, jeesh.

FYI, I have been aware of this going on for some time now but was unaware of the threats or exactly how you make threats in a video game. However myself and others have viewed it as an abuse of the system.

to OP:

to me the point here is, that you could with some effort go around this - if you unite those who are effected by this, you guys create a huge guild, grab a trader - some of those should be able to stay awake to get it and you can outbid them easily, because you are more than them, if you unite them all - then you create your guild trading and your members do not buy at other guilds ever again, your guild might even take over the customers of those threatening guilds - this is a way to counter it, inside the game rules and it is proper market pvp - but it takes effort of course. I think you guys lack initiative and effort, while the other guys put in effort to create their House Hlaalu kind of empire, using the methods of that house. To me this seem to be proper gameplay - but without to know about what is really going on, this is of course just a guess from what you said.

To the poster asking me if I am someone else creating a new post and account. No, this is my first post on this topic. I have been on this account since I started playing ESO. I don't like trollers, and so try not to be one myself. I asked the group for some guidance which I have received and have contacted the Mod to discuss further. Just because I do not wish to openly discuss in a public forum the concerns I have about in game violation, does not mean I do not have any proof or support of the people who have been threatened. But thank you for the non constructive comments. I will ignore those.

Take what you need and leave the rest.

Then maybe you should contact Decayed_Inside and pool your evidence. Their thread got shut down, perhaps because the mods had decided to investigate. Or at the very least contact them and see if they got a resolution to their reports.

Frankly this concerns me because I play on the same server and I do enjoy being able to sell my stuff on a guild trader that isnt affected by some sort of corruption. So good luck to you, sorry if i offended you but the particulars of the two threads was eerily similar.

I call BS. OP is mad about something with someone semi related to all this and is making most of this up to get back at them.

still never explained what you meant by "threats". Apparently, these so called threats are so believable, that an entire player base has been bullied to not do something. *eyeroll

Not so sure what anyone could threaten me with in game that would get me to change my behavior...short of my guild leader threatening to guildkick me for something I did...but then I probably deserved the threat.

Thanks. I'm not offended. I have also reached out to Decayed to see what, if any resolution he got. Yes, the posts are very similar, and I'm guessing it is about the same people. I think the difference between his OP and mine are that I have screenshots and other people who have been verbally threatened who are willing to come forward.

I can confirm this is real. I tried to expose this in the past and got slandered and attacked for it. It's a real situation and more and more people are going to come forth about it over time. This can't be ignored. When i posted some of them members doing it even came to derail my thread. I had e member willing to come forwards and expose it ZOS ignored me. Shows me how much they care about their customers.

Because they put moles in other guilds and you can see how much they bid where. Then they just outbid you. Any guild member can see how much you bid where. Trading guilds are also member hungry and invite basically whoever.

Mad. No. It's a game. One I enjoy immensely. I am however concerned, that a select few people are controlling the trading in game which is not what I believe is in the spirit of the game.

For the rest of you. Yes I play PvP. I die and I kill. It's a function of the game. So what. I'm not saying a thing about the mechanics of the game or anything else about the game I like or dislike. There is behavior which is happening which I believe is against the TOS, and I have asked for the help of someone who can. Those of you who NEED proof are not the people who can help me.

So, please either be constructive and help, or refrain from commenting.

Perhaps if we can pool our resources, it will help resolve the issue once and for all.

Well do you want to elaborate on what kind of "threats" this nefarious syndicate is making? So far it looks like some rich players are staying up late and buying traders with the intention of selling them off later at a profit. While this seems a bit scummy it's within the framework of the game so not what I would consider an exploit.

Assuming that these guys are making a profit by flipping traders, why can't the people buying the traders from these baddies just outbid them in the first place? Or fight fire with fire and make their own shell guilds?

Not here to argue what can or can't be done but what's to stop me from pinging an IP and getting a geolocation to have someones physical address? Most people are plain ignorant of what can be done to find your personal info on the internet but it's not very hard. Psn doesn't let me use programs to mask it like my web browsing does.

While I'm also curious as to what those "threats" might be, I doubt that disbanding a guild to recreate it week after week, just to play around bidding deadlines, is "inside the rules". Looks very much like exploit to me (regardless of "threats" used or not).

You can't show proof here it's name and shame don't fall for the bait. And you can jailbreak a ps4 to run linux and definitely see IP addresses. It's been jail broken at least 6 months I've seen many recovery services offered.
