I see this is your first Elder Scrolls game. Every full TES game since Daggerfall has included the option to join the TG, DB, and to become a werewolf or vampire.No. Not interested in being evil. Neither this or the next DLC hold the slightest interest for me. (The base game patch, however, should be good.) I am not going for vampire or werewolf, either. When did we become so morally ambiguous that it is okay to be an assassin, thief or monster?

So to answer your question, 31 August 1996 is when that happened.
No. Not interested in being evil. Neither this or the next DLC hold the slightest interest for me. (The base game patch, however, should be good.) I am not going for vampire or werewolf, either. When did we become so morally ambiguous that it is okay to be an assassin, thief or monster?

Aren't we all monsters?
We are all like any other animal. We will do whatever it takes to survive when the odds are putting our life at risk. You can't say you aren't a monster as you haven't been in those circumstances.
Also morals are not good or evil. All morals are is social constructs tied to a culture to have some type of protection by everyone having a strick mental reason to not harm others. If i killed someone I am not evil. I am simply killing something. Its how the world works. Things die, the stronger stay alive just a little longer just to die another day by something else.

And thats how you rationalize being evilOnce we're talking conscious beings who can go 'I dont like this being done to me, perhaps I shouldnt do it to others, they must not like it either' were no longer talking about 'any other animal'. This is when good and evil come into play.
With that said... I wouldnt call fighting for survival being evil. Not helping someone when it costs you little to nothing is evil. Hurting someone for entertainment is evil. Killing for personal profit or convenience...
