But here, on the other hand. we see crying about crafted sets are "too easy to obtain and too op" only because the person is too lazy to invest time and effort to research traits.
Sorry I have all traits and styles already. Most people do...which is why it takes 0 effort to get hundings.
Hundings gives massive amounts of crit and weapon damage. Hundings gives more weapon damage than the end game weapon damage set (sheer venom) while also giving absurd amounts of crit.

Some things you have said just aren't true. Hunding's rage does not outperform every other stam set in the game. Briarheart and hunding's give pretty much the same dps, but briarheart has jewelry and heals. As someone said before, briar is BiS now.
Also, why should dungeons and trials give the best gear? The monster helmet grind isn't enough for ya? It seems like you're saying that crafting requires zero effort. Grinding mats, tempers, motifs and research definitely do not require any effort or time investment.

All it takes is a quick glance at the replies in this thread, the majority clearly support crafting playing a role in end game gearing. OP you are entitled to your opinion and I respect that, doesn't mean that it's the truth.
Happy crafting!
Just because the majority like it doesn't mean its right. Slavery, Segregation, *** Germany were all supported by majority rule.
There are many corollaries to Godwin's law, some considered more canonical (by being adopted by Godwin himself)[3] than others.[1] For example, there is a tradition in many newsgroups and other Internet discussion forums that once such a comparison is made, the thread is finished and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever debate was in progress.[8] This principle is itself frequently referred to as Godwin's law.

If they want to make dropped RESOURCES matter more I'm fine with that, but I do not believe they should ruin crafting like every other mmo that follows the same lame farm-dungeon method. SWG had it right before they ruined it.

Anyone that has spent any time trying to level up and research everything for Blacksmithing, Clothing and Woodworking know that the time spent is in the Research and the hunting down of traits (nirnhoned?). Add on the time to get ahold of all of the tempers for making things epic and theres hundreds if not thousands of hours wrapped up in their crafting skill.
No one is benefiting from zero effort. The only players benefiting are those who have already put in the effort and are now enjoying the fruits of their labor and those who have grinded and farmed gold to buy from other players. All it takes is a quick glance at the replies in this thread, the majority clearly support crafting playing a role in end game gearing. Look at my profile and see my join date - 0 effort. Its so hard to go to the auction house buy a sword for 200 gold and then go to a forge and hit research...whew exhausting... My point still stands just because a lot of people who put no thought into their opinions think it is so doesn't mean it is.
"I want BiS gear easy to get instantly the minute the level cap goes up cause its good for the game...I want end game pve and pvp gear to be useless because only the top 10% can get it and I don't have time.." That's all I hear this thread and its crap game development
I'll make you some crafted gear. I don't need carrying btw, but you sound like you will be needing to buy mats and cover misc crafting costs due to what I'm guessing is a total lack of craft skills and zero time invested in gathering materials.
