Perhaps some other special unlocks to exceed a normal slider limit (Yes, I am looking at those "female chest enthusiasts" here! )

Ewww, so un-classy. I hope not. I like boobs, but this is a game character. Go watch some *** and get that out of your system.
When I mention something like that, I am doing it to make fun of people who would use something like that. Me, I kinda like somewhat androgynous characters, so its nothing I'd drool over...
I did however recall that they HAD just that feature back in Age of Conan. Found it ridiculous back then, but hey, if some people want it, its no skin off my nose; if they pay for it, it finances more content for me too, so... let 'em have it.
(I would say the same about crotch bulge embiggerment options for male characters BtW. Not that those things are a issue here, seeing how this isn't "Saint's Row"... ;) )

If the game had remained subscription-powered...
But that particular ship has sailed and sunk long ago.
Now they must make profit from their crown store, or the suits will pull the plug on the servers.
Thus the best we can hope for is that they may give us -some- options to be paid for with gold... but most WILL almost certainly cost crowns. Personally I would hope for a "everyday change - recustomization change" split, so that people can get a haircut for gold, but have to pay crowns if they want boarder shoulders or a facelift...

But I like ESO, and I want it to be around for a long time. And that means putting my money where my mouth is, and paying them for the enjoyment they bring me, so they can keep paying their developers to make new content, implement new features, patch buggy stuff and pay their server upkeep, while showing a nice enough profits that the suits consider it worth the effort...
That's the way of the world. We may not like it, but we have to accept thats how its gonna be. And hope for the occasional bonus reward for the players of the game... but that we can hope for, its not something that can be demanded.

A bit of weird addition, but I want more jewelry. No not face jewelry. I mean tail, ear and arm jewelry.

They should confirm the unofficial "Barber Shop" is now officially the called the Barber Shop.

If they changed the name I think players would still call it The Barber Shop.

More options for Redguards when it comes to hair. I went to create a more Middle Eastern looking Redguard Character for the upcoming Camel Mount and found the options for the Redguard very disappointing. Only 3 of the hair options seemed Middle Eastern like. Thankfully I was able to play with the head and facial options enough to give him a more Middle Eastern appearance but I was deeply disappointed with the hair.

    • 1000 Gold - Change Hairstyle
    • 1500 Gold - Change Adornment
    • 2000 Gold - Change Hair color
    • 5000 Gold - Change Head/Body Marking
A fifth option should also be available
    • Crown Store - New Styles

    Crown Store:
Inside the Crown Store, players should be able to buy the following for Crowns (Prices are provided as examples)
    • 400 Crowns - New Hair Styles (Each purchase includes the ability to change Hair Style one time, including Hair color)
    • 400 Crowns - New Adornments (Beard & Jewelry, each purchase includes the ability to change Adornments one time, including Hair Color)
    • 600 Crowns - New Body Markings (Each purchase includes the ability to change Body Markings one time)
    • 600 Crowns - New Head Markings (Each purchase includes the ability to change Head Markings one time)
    • 400 Crowns - 4 Pack Feature Change: 4 pack (Each purchase give the player 4 tokens. Each token allows the player to change one feature)
    • 1000 Crowns - Character Alteration Token (Allows players to re-enter the Body & Face portions of the Character Creation system. It includes the ability to change hairstyle, adornment, hair color, body markings and head markings.)

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but what you described sounds overly complicated.

If you want to readjust your character's appearance, you need the entire character creation menu. It's no good to pay once to change the hair style, then go back and pay separately to change the eyes, again to change the eyebrows, once more to change the head markings, pay again to change the character skin tone, and a final time to change the beard, etc.

This would be rather untenable, because we need the entire menu at once (same menu options from when we first created the character). We need to be able to compare the full combination of features together before finalizing the appearance.

Some eyebrow options might only look good with certain hairstyles or facial adornments, etc. It would be extremely annoying to have to select each feature separately and have to go back and pay again and again to change them instead of accessing the entire character creation menu at once.

One feature I'm hoping gets added along with this is a name change scroll. Just as some of us have gotten tired of our character's appearance over the years since launch, many are also wishing we had selected a different name.

I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

Sorry, completely misread your "5000 Gold" as "5000 Crowns" and for a second I thought you what you were suggesting was outrageously expensive.
    • 1000 Gold - Change Hairstyle
    • 1500 Gold - Change Adornment
    • 2000 Gold - Change Hair color
    • 5000 Gold - Change Head/Body Marking

Would be fantastic if it is possible with in-game gold, even 700k or 1.5m gold, etc., but this seems more like one of those much desired cosmetic features that will end up costing crowns.

If it's in the range of 500-1000 crowns for complete character appearance reset, I think this is still reasonable and would probably be a popular item.

And how exactly does this generate continuous revenue for ZOS? You certainly don't take your car to a shop expecting that, "I paid for the car already, so all my maintenance should be free." Certainly all those 'recall' fixes are free, but not the ongoing maintenance and any upgrades you might want to add to your car.

Also, for all of those who are going WAY overboard about how the barbershop will be... I believe the barbershop will simply be a return to the character creation screen and allow us to make whatever one-time changes we want- including name changes and Race- but Class section will probably not be part of that. So whatever changes we can make on the creation screen will be the changes we can make through the Barbershop... for the price of a one-time use token. That is how I expect it to work because it makes the most sense and would involve the least amount of effort to create; they have even said that it isn't difficult to develop but that those '80 other systems' are taking priority.

And how exactly does this generate continuous revenue for ZOS?

Indirectly. The more pleased I am with my character, the more I'm going to feel like playing and the more I'm going to feel like buying things for that character. The more satisfied I am with the game's features and prices the more likely I will be to spend money on the game and recommend it to others.

If I'm not really satisfied with my character and I know the only way to fix this is to re-create them, I'm going to be hesitant to play with that character, and am not going to feel as positive about the game overall because of the nagging frustration about something I wish I could change without the tremendous hassle of starting all over.

Many people feel like this should be a basic feature of the game, and if done simply shouldn't take all that much work on the developer's part since the character creation menu already exists, thus paying extra for it doesn't sit well. To use the car analogy from a different angle (though I honestly do think you made a good point there), it's kind of like side windows not coming as a default feature of the car, they can list them as optional extras, but it's something you're essentially obligated to get anyways. I know how you look doesn't technically break the game, but it is a very important part of the motivation to play for many players - hence feeling like it should be a default feature.

The less I feel like the features are worth the price, the more disillusioned I will become and less likely to keep playing, recommend to others, or pay for more extras. By 'giving' a little you create more loyalty and willingness to support. Yes the crown store provides the necessary funds to keep the game running and growing, but in the interest of promoting a positive view of the game, I don't think every new thing added should necessarily be a direct crown-store item. Of course that's not to take for granted the bug-fixes and general maintenance, but getting new features that don't come from the store certainly looks Nice - creating a positive impression.

Personally I would probably feel like it was worth it if the ability to change your characters was sold as an upgrade feature similar to the adventurer pack or imperial edition, where you buy it once for your account and then it's always available to you. Paying with crowns for every change you want to make would leave a slightly bitter taste in my mouth, as the saying goes.

Personally I would love to see it as DLC-ish feature that is once bought and then available for as many alterations as desired.

I just fear they will be more likely to go with the "common" route for such games, and charge "per use" in the hope of grabbing more profit from it.
Since they can hardly justify any "indirect" profits, which -lets face it- are basically people making promises, and since they can hardly pay their development team with promises... well...
And of course, they would know from games which did it like that, people will pay for it per use as well.

In any case, I most of all want it -sooner- If it costs per use, so be it, but please, please, let me fix those characters of mine that keep vexing me in the forseeable future and not "longer term"!

While I am fine with new items being sold for crowns - like new hairstyles and such - I am not with providing things which are already in the game for crowns in the context of a barber shop. This should be available for gold and a not too high price as well, so that it is in tune with other "services" in the game - like if a normal armor is available for a couple of hundred gold, why would a hair cut cost hundreds of gold, this is unreasonable.

Crown store items should provide NEW CONTENT, not charge for things which are already in the game. I do already not like cash grabs like with the bank and inventory slots, which are unreasonably high (while being basically no effort for ZOS at all) and basically an insult with the buy to play model - it would be ok for a free game, but ESO is not free, just be reasonable with offers in the crown store and do not charge several REAL dollars for just changing a number - this is a real annoyance to me.

This. Mostly free, except for your examples. Although I would be ok with gold vs. crowns to change simple things like hair, body etc. The transition from CC to in-game doesn't always translate well. I really want to fix my mains eye seperation but I don't think I should have to chance real money that I don't get it right again. I have made LOADS of characters in the CC and sometimes it's perfect, exactly what I want, other times, I get a good laugh.

Don't see why they wouldn't monetize it, nor why they shouldn't, except to get goodwill. Don't get your hopes up, at least part of it will be tied to Crowns somehow. Frankly I wouldn't mind - I never paid for a barbershop, they're developing one by popular request, so they'd be silly not to monetize it somehow.
