How are motifs anything other than cosmetic? They just change the appearance of your armor.

They are cosmetic. That is what the sentence states. Right??
What else could motifs be? Could they be a commodity to be sold to others in the game? I mean, is it even possible that a motif could be sold for gold in the game?
Nah, you're probably right. They are just cosmetic.
If you think convenience items are P2W, my only thought is this is your first MMO.
Instead of simply giving negative feedback, why don't you give us an example of how should ZOS make money?

My third actually. Both of my previous ones went F2P, so I have seen this kind of business before. That said, I think the "convenience" items in the Crown Store aren't P2W as per the strict definition of the term... they are just deeply distasteful.Instead of simply giving negative feedback, why don't you give us an example of how should ZOS make money?
You mean the suggests that people have been making since the B2P announcement? Here's one; make subbing an option that is enticing rather than pointless (and I say that as someone who has an unbroken sub since PC early access), and then top up using cosmetic shinies and DLCs bought from the crown store.
Contriving changes in mechanics to artificially increase the difficulty of obtaining items just to drive crown store sales? A cheap trick that should be, but unfortunately isn't, unworthy of ZOS and this MMORPG. Yes, motifs, I am looking at you.

I have also noticed that about the motifs.
But hey, if motifs aren't convenience, what the hell is?
I say, let them earn money off of motifs. Does not hurt players. I for one am a 9 trait crafter and I could care less if somebody paid $ for their motifs.
It's not like people make gold ingame out of crafting.
