Honor the VR16 players when VR disappears

Hello,

Because they are gonna remove the Veteran rank i want to ask Zenimax and Bethesda to give us something to remember the old times.
I realize that what they are doing might be in the best interest of the game but i still remember how cool it felt to become a Veteran and the same goes for when i hit VR16.
So i'm kinda sad to know i'm gonna be just rank 50 (even if my stats are the same).

My suggestion is that VR16 players are getting something to honor what they achieved in the game.
This could be a title, mount or other item.

I hope a lot of people get to read this and join the discussion and share idea's if u have them and they might listen to what we have to say.

it's going to be no different. CPs just replace VR levels. Just instead of needing to be VR16 to use VR16 equipment...you'll need 400 CPs.

I just came back; and my characters are only VR3 and VR1, but I support this!

I've always enjoyed exclusive cosmetic options for players that were around for significant events, changes, etc. It makes the world more interesting, especially years down the road when these titles, items, etc become more rare.

I bet those will be converted to CP as well for newer players. The OP wants something exclusive like the beta testing monkey or the striped senche mount for long term subbers before the game went B2P.

Don't see it happening, though.

We should get something goblin related, since the sacrifice of millions of goblins in Crackwood Cave played an essential role in the grind to VR16 for so many VR16 heroes!

Just the title "Veteran" would be kind of cool I think. I wouldn't go as far as making an exclusive pet or mount though.

Honestly some titles to indicate when we joined the game would be cool. Not stats, not more exclusive items. Just, here's some titles you can slap over your characters.

Hah. Thanks for letting me know, I had no idea. @leepalmer95 I think I may have the "recruit" title

I was not aware it was one of the titles. Hmmm. Either way, I feel if anything was given it should only be a title, and not some pet/mount that no one else will ever get (in that exact color).

Have the OP actually reached a veteran 16 character? I mean like you DO get a collector's item called Imperial Chancellor upon reaching v16.

I'm V16 and never grinded in that cave. But anything would be cool.

When I read the thread title I expected the OP to be requesting ZOS to do some sort of tribute to all of the VR16 characters in the game. Like maybe some sort of video showing each VR16 character rotating as they would appear on the character selection screen, one fading into the next as the camera slowly pans, and sappy music plays, and when each individual VR16 appears a small blurb fades in with them showing the character's name, creation date, date the character hit VR16, and the total hours played.

I'm torn as to whether it should be a separate video for each platform/server, or one long video combining all of them.

Damn, when this thought first occurred to me all I could think was how ridiculous it would be, but now I kind of want it to happen.
