Ergo......you think you deserve more just because you have played longer. Thankyou for your time in this matter. It has been a pleasure correcting you.

Yes it is a fun way to wake up, and what You think you deserve more because you've played less?
You're discounting people who play multiple characters though. They play the game as much, just on other toons. If you unlocked things based on time playing a character then a lot of people, myself included would enjoy the game less as I'd be forced to use one toon.
Well this doesn't affect me at all, I'm trying to look out for the folks on the loosing end of the stick.
I just don't see how folks think a character who is not at cap with 1000 hours played should stay less than a character who is at cap with 500 hours played is fair, much less an elite attitude.
If they have more time in they should at least be equal, not behind those who have played less.

The in-game functions to get earned XP only count back to the last level up. It can't easily be actioned retroactively because that data is not readily available. For example, I just hit VR2. My XP since VR2 is 12,344. The function GetUnitXP() will show 12,344, and not my total earned XP, which is something like 3,159,308.
That sir, is elitism

ZOS's policies when it comes time to make a change tends to punish the folks that have supported them the longest. My suggestion to fix this is simple,
Look at the XP earned rather than the level a character is at when a change to leveling is made. This should be made retro-active to the creation of the character.
How many folks continued to play characters that were max level before a change was made, yet you only give them the same credit as someone who just hit max level the day before a change. What about the folks that earned levels when they were 1 million + per level as compared to now.
I get the idea of making sure new players are competitive, but to have the potential of a new player being ahead of players that have earned more is just plain wrong.
Edit: changed word when to before "How many folks continued to play characters that were max level before a change was made"
Who said that? The Champion System may be account wide, but each character will still be able to do the content separately and earn CPs from it. I've got 3 chars to get through Silver and Gold, and I'm waiting for VRs to be removed so that I can take full advantage of getting three rounds of CP from it.Just remember in the future that you only get credit for doing the content once (Silver and Gold and what ever else comes along)
