Not that i think it would be a bad thing but.....

you would need the terrain of the game to be a lot more polished and full. More tree's everywhere and thing's to create line of sight. In the sewer's there isn't much room to do that to begin with.

Removing stealth is a horrible idea. Sneak attacks are part of the Elder Scrolls culture.

Instead of removing stealth and rebalancing each and every class because of it they could do the following:

A: Make it easier to pop a non NB out of stealth by some kind of ability that costs a decent amount of Stamina or Magicka so it cannot be spammed.

    OR my personal vote

B: Some kind of notification informing the player that there is a stealthed enemy in the general area ONLY if they have said above ultimate or ability slotted granting a passive that detects stealth.

PvP without stealth could result in a mature, serious game.
A mature game where real battle tactics would matter.
Therefore, it will never happen. People want easy kills.

You are aware stealth is a real battle tactic, right? You can call it immature all you want it's not going to change anything.

You strike me as one of those people who will not be content unless everyone follows your unwritten, non-game enforced rules that you'll call honorable but are really about you not being mature enough except a loss.
If stealth was removed from PvP, there would be a lot more low level players not afraid to fight in Cyrodil or non nightblade players to run in smaller groups or solo. And a more balanced class choice; since there would be fewer night blades. ZOS ruined PvP for all other classes or builds other than Night blades. And are further encouraging ganking with the AP diminishing returns for larger groups to help protect against stealthed night blade gankers in the future PvP update.

The most dangerous class attacking from stealth is actually a Dragonknight. Especially when the other player is a vampire.

If it's a non NB, it wouldnt need to be spammable, also, if you a huge chunk of your resources just to find them, what would be left to fight them with? (which is partly the current issue with cloak).

IMO they should just allow single target effects hit someone in stealth if your cross-hair catches them. (doesn't need to have their health appear at all)

I enjoy mostly PvP content. Having said that I do dislike the stealth mechanic for PvP.

I'll admit I've been apart of some awesome uses with it, but still wish it gone.

take away stealth and invisibility from eso and from pvp and i would leave

    Bye then. :)

Save your farewells, stealth is going nowhere and therefore neither is he. In response to your previous comment; I'm a pvper, I rarely stealth cos I'm a sorc, and yet I like the stealth mechanic. It empowers solo players/small groups, and removing stealth would break one of the classes built around stealth. Can't be done without a massive rework of that class. I think you need to practice at pvp.

PVP without any stealth would be large ball zergs mowing everyone down with no chance of escape. In all my character classes I go into stealth to attempt to escape an un-winnable combat.

Why don't ZOS remove all aggression from PVP & we can just throw flowers & tickle each other !@#! NO. Stealth is part of the game.

Well, it would partially take out the advantage of having the element of surprise on an enemy group, which is often used by smaller groups against bigger ones.

    So, it would suck.

I knew a exile would say that, because ganking all you know how to do :P

What if all special operation groups in the world had to give up stealth to follow some unwritten rule set up by some knucklehead. That would be awesome.

Geneva Convention actually has rules set on "allowed camouflage for times of war" so technically some (a few) knuckleheads did make it a rule.

Most countries and terrorist groups don't abide by it so I guess their the hackers. :)

Wait, our military can turn invisible now? Please, gimme a break. As someone else said, line of sight and brush is the kind of cover you encounter in real world examples. Or ghillie suits, either way...you're never nvisoble.

Ever play H1Z1? Open world samdbox where cover and line of sight matter, pretty cool pvp.

Not enough cover in cyrodiil for that to work.

Well you can't compare a fantasy game to real life and expect it to match 100%. My BDU don't really belong in an ESO game...

Plus H1Z1 is a horrible game with horrible developers that took peoples money for nothing. I can't remember the original name it had but they changed it because of all their known ethics.

    Stolen from DayZ.

Same concept and everything. And they were surprised they got sued. Sure play this game if you like being shot in the head from across the map by a 6 year old that bought a hack on his mommies Credit card.

Stealth is fine if it's like behind a rock/tree or a far distance away. I just find it hard to believe you can hide 30 people in a single spot in a wide open field without casting some sort of spell. IMHO, Stealth needs to consume Magicka or Stamina, even when staying still. You should have to choose when to stealth, now have the ability to be perma stealthed.

How about you learn to play with stealth? M'kay?

There are tons of ways to mitigate stealth: potions, spells, armor sets, and of course -- grouping. Removing it from PvP would require a massive rebalancing act and frankly sounds more like you're whining about getting ganked in the sewers and losing some TVS.

you cant read he didnt whine or even ask for it lol

If it's an ability you personally use, it's a skill. If it's an ability other people use to kill you, it's an exploit and needs to be removed.

The most advanced tech in eso is a stone trebuchet. Eso is all about magic and fantasy levels of strength, no need to reason it out like that.
