Who is your Internet Provider (US)

I'm asking this for the community. I can say for certain that 99% of the time when I have trouble with lag and being dropped multiple times from the game (like today) it is problems with the internet in and around my area. I'm wondering if most of the problems folks have with this game can be attributed to one or more providers.
(Please comment if you have problems playing ESO from time to time)

Charter $39.99 60Mb down / 4Mb up

When its good its great, but there have been several times I've had troubles and checked it and it was all the way down to 2Mb down and less than 1Mb up.

At least they try to keep you able to read whats going on when they have trouble, but you can't game that way.

Edit: I should note that I don't have near as much trouble as some folks here seem to have.

*** performance is top notch in Baton Rouge with fiber. I find it suprising since there really isn't any competition.

I have the 100 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up for $75. I've measured 12 MBps down (byte not bit). Most importantly its stable.

Sometimes you can improve stability with better dns servers, might be worth looking into.

I only have 3.25mbs down and I rarely have lag. Perhaps check latency, spyware, network and router settings if you are having issues. Make sure your device has a static IP on your network once you have ports set.

Getting 300mb/s down, can't recall up speed. It's basically friggin awesome all the time. Never really had the same lag, load screens, boots, etc that people complain about on here. Once lost connection during gameplay, once in six months.

Had an ISP for awhile Internet was great suddenly started having issues with hi ping during peak hours, so I switched ISP and it cleaned up my connection.

Both of these providers sell fiber service that is owned by the local PUD.

Both are 100Mb connection.

I wasn't intending on leaving anyone out. I just thought if the poll gathered the kind of info folks would want to see then then someone would eventually do the same thing for EU. That said, anyone who wishes to answer this poll is more than welcome to.

To get 100 down where I live you'd have to pay $75 a month, and it is only available within a mile or 2 of city limits. You can get up to a gig both ways (not charter) for $250 a month.

TWC and they charge me for a 100Mbs connection but they are off and on a lot but no issues with the game due to my ISP

CenturyLink. They're awful. I would rather have Comcast or TWC as my provider.

I get 1.5 Mbps down. My upload speeds aren't even worth mentioning. The latency is pretty bad as well. I normally sit at around 200-230ms in ESO, but lately I've been seeing 300+ms.

Sorry to hijack another thread, but I thought I'd give an example of why I asked for this post.

When I run across one like this, I have something to compare it to.

Time Warner Cable

At the beginning of the year, they upgraded my internet speed and gave me a dual-band (combo all in one modem/router) modem that they said, "you need to use this in order to have the upgraded speeds". I knew better, but I hate arguing with them.

A month later, my LAN connection would reset, forcing the modem to reset and needing to resync. This would happen intermittently throughout the day or sometimes like clock work every 15 minutes. No matter how many times I manually reboot it, this still happened. I tried switching out my ethernet cables to see if there was a splice or kink the first set, but that didn't help.

Finally went to a location and tossed it back at them and they gave me a standard modem. Went back to using my router and everything was fine. A month later, back to the same damn problem.

No idea what the F is causing it and I'm not patient enough to call them just so they can send out a technician that can't find a problem and tell me, "There's nothing wrong."

TL:DR - My ISP sucks, but no issues with in-game lag or anything like that. Just my ISPs incompetent tech service.

Google Fiber. Gigabit.

Rarely have connection issues. For me, lag is almost always a server-side issue, but it's usually not an issue outside of Azura (yay Haderus!).

Currently have Charter with a 144 Mb/s connection, but it is prone to service disruptions or simple bandwidth overload.

Used to have AT&T fiber optic with 54 Mb/s, but it had zero issues no matter the usage.
