Is revealing Flare bugged?

Just hit a nb 4 times with it yet he still cloaked.

If you're PC NA and non-DC, you can /w @runagate and we can test it on one another. I hadn't used it in a little while, and doubt I can get an enemy NB to hold still long enough to test it on such a laggy day.

hmm easiest way is to join a multifactioned duelling guild for pvp, just temporary if needed and test it out.

Hmm it may of been the lag then, sadly im on ps4 eu... and Dc

It seems really unreliable i specifically put it on to stop magblades vanishing when they want and it hasn't worked yet.

use caltrops instead, better AOE same result + Snare and damage

Thats my results when I tested it. Also the dots is removed by cloak for the dot morph.

Morph it into Lingering Flare.

Giant AoE (almost as big as caltrops)
Enter the ring = Revealed
No stealth/hidden for 8 seconds
Can't purge
Bye bye NB

True caltrops are a better AOE but flare prevents them from returning to stealth even if there out of the AOE. Even in caltrop a NB can use cloak to atleast cancel the single target attack and the negative effects while flare stops it period.

Stealth and invisible are two different states.

The tooltip only says stealth.

Gets brought up every NB stealth thread and still no official word how it is supposed to be

NB cloak can purge any of the effects from this skill. Which is one of the reasons i never understood why it was created the way it was in 1.6.
