Good joke...good joke man, almost believed you
Seriously. I love ESO, and while it has problems, if they can keep new content on par with Orsinium's level... it makes me REALLY excited for ESO's future. Yeah, I'm frustrated some seemingly basic problems take 6-12 months to fix, but if/when they can get things in shape... it'll be golden.Immensely proud that Zenimax got this.
...they've achieved a great deal this year. Here's to 2016 and many more years of adventuring in Tamriel. Good job, guys.
lol very true. The vast majority of the people I'm friends with in-game are definitely casuals. The hard-core folks I've interacted with have, nearly without exception, been the worst complainers, whiners, and generally unfun people. Now obviously there are some exceptions to that, and there are hard-core folks out there who are just fine members of the community, but as a general rule casuals make a far, far better community.Elijah_Crow wrote: »

I think the game deteriorated drastically, especially after conversion to the more viable Buy to Play model (!!!), but I only played between april 2014 and february 2015 and again between july and october, so I might have missed some epic improvements.
I also think that qoute sounds very much like something that just came out of ZOS's PR department.

Best MMO of 2015 – The Elder Scrolls Online / Runners Up – WildStar, Guild Wars 2, SWTOR, FFXIV
As we stated at the start of this award season, 2015 was all about the existing games getting better, delivering content, and expanding both in terms of content and player-base. In our eyes, no other game has done more to improve its lot and deliver on the wants of its players than Elder Scrolls Online. Not only did Zenimax manage to launch ESO on XB1 and PS4 this year, but they also converted their game to the more viable Buy to Play model. Since then, two massive DLC packs have been released, bringing the Imperial City to life in ESO and just recently the lost Orc city of Orsinium. Since its launch, ESO has done nothing but improve, and we wish all MMORPGs would follow such an aggressive and confident march towards delivering the best possible experience to their players. Cheers to Zenimax Online for Elder Scrolls Online’s banner year.

- Worst lag in any game that is out there. I dare someone to post video of a game with worse lag.
- Terrible design decisions. I doubt anyone can deny 1.5 was as close to balance this game has seen.
- Bugs, bugs and more bugs. There are so many bugs that have been here since launch it makes me laugh.
I agree ESO deservedly won.
With that said, it was a pretty slow year mmo-wise, so while I believe ZoS has done an excellent job improving the game, it's mostly because there was so much to improve upon.
Let's hope they don't rest on their Laurels for the coming year!

I don't understand that image in the slightest, but its randomness amuses me.
If you read the article you can see ESO went up against the big boys of MMOs, and yes, it's well deserved. Whenever I'm in Glenumbra all I hear is praise from all the noobs about how amazing the game is, and they're right. For an MMO, it's brilliant. Definitely the best combat I've ever encountered, and as a PVPer, that's a huge thing for me.Olen_Mikko wrote: »Well, that couldn't have been very tight competition.
This has to be some kind of sick joke or pribery.

It's a high five. It's a particularly epic high five, in order to properly represent just how epic @ZOS_GinaBruno wants the high five that she's giving us to be.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Thanks, everyone! What's cooler than a gorilla and a shark high-fiving each other with explosions in the background?
