PC Unable to Connect to Game Server

    Are you guys on NA or EU?

    I'm on NA, the toon that got booted while in Coldharbor is Mujuro of Kimone; I don't get to the character selection screen and, instead, just get the "unable to connect to game server" message.

    Ok, we've determined the issue and it does appear to be affecting only Coldharbour and Stonefalls on NA, and also isn't affecting everyone. Unfortunately, the fix we need to implement requires many teams that aren't available right now and, honestly, is too risky to do without them. We will address this first thing in the morning, and it likely won't take very long. In the meantime, we encourage you to log into alts that are in other zones, if possible.     I can't even get to character select.

    This welcome back is almost as bad as the last one, where I couldn't even get the game installed before it was over due to impossibly slow download speeds. I was in beta, and have tried twice since then to give this game another try, but I can honestly say I know very little about the actual game, because of one issue or another. I have spent hours fixing problems, and waiting for answers.

    I was optimistic and actually planning on buying this game next week if I enjoyed this weekend. Right now I just have a headache.

    Thanks for the update. Unfortunately I can't seem to get to the character selection screen to log into another alt. All of mine are out of Coldharbour and in their respective starting areas.

    I was also a Beta/Stress Tester & am in the same boat character select wise and with the same goal for the free weekend as you (to see if I want to purchase the game since subscriptions are gone & can dedicate some time to playing ESO:TU). Given that this is still day #1 of 'free weekend' and they are going to fix it ASAP you should still be able to play.

    I am having a similar problem, but I am attributing it to being stupid enough to leave my main in Stonefalls on the eve of a free-to-play weekend. I have no trouble logging into my alt, who is in Shadowfen.

    Just to clarify, I'm unable to log into any alts or anything. The character load screen never loads. Glad to hear you'll have people on it in the morning though. Thanks for your attn in this matter. Have a good evening.

    The odd thing though is that my character loaded just fine when I removed all of the addons, so I'm not sure what's entirely going on o.o

    Apparently this is affecting DC's Hall of Heroes too. None of us can enter, we all get infinite loading screens. Since we aren't actually in that zone though we can reload the game and reappear in Bangkorai.

Not really keen on paying for customer service who's idea of ASAP is to wait 3 hours before they even acknowledge the issue anyway. Its going to take a lot of good faith on their part to change my mind, I just feel like I keep getting slapped in the face by them over and over.

    They took something I loved and turned it into a practical joke.

    disable all ur addons and u can play! just disabled mine before i logged in and now i can play! TY @GhostOfAnEra TYVM!!!!!

    so @ZOS_GinaBruno it may be an addon problem if people can login after disabling them..also it would see their creators havnt updated them to current patch nor has minion updated it either!

    Professional 24/7 service providers use what's called an 'on call' system, maybe ZOS should look into such things.

    The only way I can get rid of addons is to delete them from the add on folder which I did. Did not work for me :( Still getting cannot connect to server error. I am happy to hear it worked for others though :D

    Maybe you can use your fancy new window that pops up to let the community know there is a issue and not to try and load in any alts in these zones instead of trying to sell me Bears for a broken game.
