    Just got a reply after mentioning this thread and was told the issue is being escalated to a specialized team so hopefully we'll be up and running soon. At least I hope

    I assume its connected to "Free Play Weekend" somehow

    That I don't know but "free to play" weekends usually end up causing some sort of hiccup. As long as I'm not locked out all weekend I'll be cool about it. Stuff happens ;)

    Same problem here. Getting: "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection.". Restarted my PC & have been waiting over 2 hrs in case it was server-wide. I know I hit quit game last time it worked though that was due to data packet loss or the client/server was crashing on me (went from 100+fps to 30fps flat).

    Well, it seems like the same problem the European servers were having but its happening on NA servers now.

    Just got a response on my ticket. Not banned :] so thats good. She says my character is currently logged in.

    I'm NA - though like I said, my problem is mostly from loading into Coldharbour from an outside zone, rather than logging in entirely.

    I can log in just fine into Eastmarch.

    I have a hunch they're related though... of course I could also be completely wrong.

    hi im stuck on a new character..stuck on Requesting Character load..i can load my main toon fine but it started when i made my first new toon when it tried to connect right after i made it and it never did. so i closed and still couldnt log in...2nd time i remade him i was able to log in but as soon as i logged out i am now stuck at the requesting character load again..Character

    Kenny,

    It seems Stonefalls and Coldharbour are buckling under the load of F2P weekend. If your char is in stonefalls you're not going to have much luck getting on until they fix it

    Thanks! Could it be some of us are still 'logged in'? I know I had to force quit the client then the error I was getting started. (Tried to logout normally but hitting the button did nothing & everyone around me looked like they were 'frozen' in time in Davon's Watch.)
