Dailies

There are a lot of people in this thread who don't know what they're talking about and are spreading misinformation (and a few people who actually do know what they're talking about and are trying to correct the others).

So for a little clarity, here's a breakdown of the dailies that currently exist in ESO.
    • 6 daily crafting writs: 1 for each crafting profession, based on your crafting skill level, and given on the writ boards of any major city in your home alliance zones, Craglorn, or Wrothgar (not in your Cadwell's Silver or Gold zones). These cannot be shared.
    • 6 daily Imperial City district quests: 1 for each district. These cannot be shared, so if you want to do them with friends (totally optional, they're all easily done solo, and the only real reason to want to have friends along is to help avoid being ganked by enemy players) you all have to talk to the quest giver at the top of the stairs leading from your alliance's base in the sewers to the district.
    • 1 daily Wrothgar delve quest, given in Morkul Stronghold. I don't believe this one can be shared like the world boss dailies, but I've actually never tried. It's easily done solo.
    • 1(6) daily Wrothgar world boss quest(s), given in the hostel just outside Orsinium. You can only pick up one of the 6 available quests yourself, and it's random which one you get. You can share these quests, as long as the person you're sharing it with doesn't have an active world boss quest, and hasn't already done the particular one you're sharing that day. Because of this it's possible to do all 6 of these each day. These quests aren't solo-friendly, and virtually require a group because the world bosses are very powerful.
    • 50 daily Cyrodiil PVE quests, given in the 5 quest hub towns of Bruma, Cheydinhal, Chorrol, Cropsford, and Vlastarus. You can pick up all of these yourself, and they're all easily done solo. It's been a long time since I last did these in a group, so I don't remember for sure if they can be shared, but I think that they can.
    • daily Cyrodiil PVP quests, given on boards in your alliance's gate area. These are the battle, scouting, warfront, elder scroll, and bounty missions. I'm not sure if the bounty ones can be shared, but the others can. I haven't done enough of these to be entirely clear on how many you can do in a day, or even if they're truly dailies or endlessly repeatable.
    • 2 daily Undaunted pledges: 1 for a non-vet group dungeon, and 1 for a vet group dungeon, given at your alliance's Undaunted enclave just outside your alliance's capital city. These require a group, and cannot be shared, but everyone who picks up the pledge that day will get the same pledge.
    • Craglorn dailies. I actually don't know anything about these, other than the fact that they exist.

I'm pretty sure that's all of them, but it's possible I forgot a category. Also, last time I checked you could only do a maximum of 50 daily quests in a day, so if you were to try to do everything on the above list, you wouldn't be able to.

Actually I'd remove the word "easily" since they're pretty tough, but yes, they're soloable.
They should NOT be confused with the "district quests" from the IC main quest which are not repeatable.

I confirm they can be shared, (provided you don't already have one running from the same quest giver) and I add that this is the way you should proceed if you're doing them in a group, else you might end up with different quests each (the order they're given in is random, thus sharing is the way to go).

These aren't actual dailies, they're repeatable for as long and as much as you want.

There's nothing special about them except they're designed for groups, thus quite hard to solo (though some of them are soloable). One of them requires 4 people due to a (imho stupid) door mechanic.

A "day" is from 7 am to 7 am GMT on EU/PC server, not sure about other servers.

Just my 2 cents and details to an otherwise perfect summary of "dailies in ESO".

Well, I said "easily" because there's nothing in them that's any tougher than just fighting mobs in IC. But given that IC mobs are much tougher than mobs anywhere else in the game, and soloing a group of 2-4 mobs in IC is much harder than soloing a group of 2-4 mobs anywhere else...
They should NOT be confused with the "district quests" from the IC main quest which are not repeatable.
Good point, I meant to call that out explicitly, and I forgot. A couple of the non-repeatable district quests from the main quest are very difficult to solo, almost requiring a group (2 in particular I wouldn't attempt without a group). I think a lot of people get confused about whether the dailies can be done solo because they confuse them with the non-repeatable district quests that need to be done before the dailies are unlocked.

Thanks for the additional details on the ones I wasn't sure about!

The PVP Bounty ones are one per type per day.
You can do one for DK, one for Sorc, one for NB, one for Templar and one for All Enemies then that's it until the next day.
    They are shareable.

The scouting quests are Not shareable.

They can be shared. Also, as of the Orsinium update, you can have all 6 in your quest journal at the same time. Unfortunately, they can only be picked up in the safe zone of each district (it'd be nice if there was a central board from which I can grab them all), so what I normally do is endure a bunch of loading screens going up to the district, picking up the daily, coming back down via the base ladder, and then going back up to another district to pick another one up. This process became much easier once they fixed the loading screens.

Once I have all 6 quests in the journal, then I do all 6 districts in a loop, going back down into the sewers once I've done them all.

And, yes, they are shareable, since when I do this with a friend, we split the quest pickups between us and share the quests, so we cut that initial quest pickup phase in half.

Daily system is no good, if you force people to log in every day, sooner they get bored and leave the game. If they add daily system I hope they stack up for a week or so, basically you can do week's dailies in one day. I think this genre should move away from daily logs, they cant add content so fast anyway, so why we need to log in every damn day, just like now Thief DLC isnt coming in next couple month, but we need to do daily log, I dont get it, what happens now is people do dailies 2 month, and when Thief DLC actually comes they are exhausted and dont even buy the DLC. Amateur Zen, nuff said.

It is very rare that I agree with Sausage that says something about how annoying the daily system is. I can understand dailies that are group required and change for everyone not stacking but not solo dailies like I have days where I am sick or busy yet I practically get penalized for it.
