I think they idea is to focus on the positive. If people did not see potential in the game or enjoy parts of it with the hope of seeing it get better, no one would care enough to play or make critical comments. One can acknowledge the flaws in the game, criticize the priorities of the developers and their infrequent communication, as well as what one appreciates.
