Lol. Good point @MornaBaine. That whole thread is a joke. I know they can't add evening but they seem to not even look at that thread for ideas.

I tend to agree. It was like they said, "Okay tell us how we can get you to give us money," and we said, "Okay, sure!" And then they left the room and never returned.

Almost all players can make an alt to max lvl 50. So, I don't find a need to buy it.
[sarcasm]Suuuuure, we will delete a character with a year worth of crafting research to level up an alt just to get a new haircut, correct skinny legs or a unfortunate voice choice... [/sarcasm]YurtTheSilentChief wrote: »Is there a need for barber shop, when veteran ranks are removed?

Perhaps even "structural options", like, say, allowing a nord to exceed the usual maximum height scale and play as Lyris distant cousin, another "titanborn"... stuff like that.
In this proposed barber shop there HAS to be ways to adjust lighting and different backgrounds to flip through so we can get a proper idea of what our character will look like in game.

and I dont want to offend anyone, but wont that be a bit of a steal to pay 500-1000 crowns everytime you want to change something on a character? Why dont they make something like the adventurers pack, where you pay once, lets say between 1500-3000 and can ALWAYS use the feature to change your character?
Personally I kinda agree, though I also see the other side.I understand the need for an alternate revenue source, now that the game has gone B2P (for which it seems to me we're more and more seeing the negative consequences, with threads like this only further cementing that view). But still, I think crown store items should be done carefully and tastefully. Not "whatever makes a buck from the whales".
Hmmm... that would be an interesting idea. I'd pay it in a heartbeat.SerenaAnastasia wrote: »Why dont they make something like the adventurers pack, where you pay once, lets say between 1500-3000 and can ALWAYS use the feature to change your character?
I'm very annoyed at the lack of dark hair colors for the Altmer as well. I had to give up the racial traits I wanted and make Bosmer instead to get black hair and more variety of eye colors.AFrostWolf wrote: »Why I can't have black hair as a nord is infuriating.
MornaBaine wrote: »Perhaps. But seriously, there's a whole GIANT thread ZOS themselves made asking people what sorts of things they want in the Crown Store and precious few of them have been done. Many requests for polymorphs and skins that would be super easy for them to do. The whole "change your character" thing...code is already there so why isn't that a thing yet since players have been begging for it since launch?

Some people will argue that ZOS should fix bugs first and then work on a character recustomization feature but the bottom line is this thread was created by Gidorick back in April 2015. That was 8 months ago. Plus, this feature has been requested long before this post.
Sure. Quaffle a potion of enhanced facial hirsuteness and watch the beardedness increase! Watch the manliness increase! Buy NOW!DRXHarbinger wrote: »so let me get this right? you go to a barbers to GROW a beard...........
If the game has stayed subscription powered, that's how it would have been.If they don't change it to offer a limited time free edit after creation, then I think any option implemented should not be restricted to crowns only. I don't think it would be that hard to put in an NPC that would just take you back to your saved creation screen and let you edit the existing options (which would cost gold, of course).
Indeed it has. And then got sidetracked like everything else when they diverted all resources to the console release. You may have noticed how many of the other things promised a year ago were released only now - Imperial City, Wrothgar/Orsinium... so, chances are good character recustomization will finally come...
