That's alright talk to a trade guild about pvp instead assembling people who actually drop bug reports and spend time on the PTS.
This recent update has made me sad. Sad for the game. Sad for the community. Sad to pay whatever it is now. I want the previous eso back.

    Hey silky,

As mentioned elsewhere in the post, 25+ guilds were represented and the group includes all types of guilds not just trade-oriented ones. :)

probab;y fake. here is the reason why:
no mentioning these meetings in eso live.
Never a forum post of recap what was discussed.
    GM's name spelled wrong?
It would surprise me that character custumasation would be called 'barbershop' by ZoS casue it would problably be larger if they would implement it
mail recieved 9 hours ago will be deleted in 3 days? last i checked all mail stayed for 30 days

If there was no attachment, then yes, it lasts about 3 days.

This is one reason why I sent bits with my notes to people - I don't want my mail to them to dissapear if they haven't logged on in a while.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

Didn't know this was Commodities Exchange Online. Since when do trading guilds have the exclusive ear of ZOS and 500 member dueling guilds do not?

Trading is a necessity, not the point of the game. I get it that some people get bored of the game and just buy and sell but that's not what the game is about.

How bout some guild meetings with actual PvP guilds?

Hopefully they haven't been taking too much advice or feedback from pvp guilds. That's probably why this game is so zerg friendly

Well it might be because one of the pvp guilds that they did have meetings with decided to openly exploit on the most populated campaign and then got on the forums and bragged about and trolled the devs, and may or may not have still continued to keep having meetings (I don't know).

guild meetings have been going on for a long time and I had been keeping track of all the guilds that I could confirm participated, with some disturbing trends.

I was personally present at this meeting. There was indeed much said that has already been confirmed, though the scope of the meeting was much larger than the mail suggests.

The group that met with ZOS last night consists of GM's and officers of 26 different guilds, with a range of game focus. Yes, large trading guilds had a presence, but we also have representatives from small social guilds, PVP guilds, PVE guilds and endgame content guilds. It allowed us to present a wide range of issues and feedback, which ultimately is of great value to the various creative teams.

We are always looking for more representatives, all that is necessary is a strong desire to help improve the quality of life in the game. Ping me if you're interested.

The bigger takeaway here is that ZOS IS actively engaging the community, and IS actively working on delivering a better experience. As a community, that's exactly what we want, right?

Edit to add: a HUGE thanks to the ZOS reps that attended last night, many of whom weren't "at work" or were on a "day off". We really appreciated your time, and SUPER appreciate your commitment to listening to and requesting feedback, and are happy to be a part of that process!!

Did they say anything about doing anything more with racial passives at this meeting?

Interesting to see that this takes place, and good to know the devs are taking feedback directly from players of their game. Big thumbs up from me!

Curious though, do console players get represented at these meetings?

There are bad apples in every community. There is plenty of price fixing, market capture and guild trader bid collusion in the trading community but it is a lot harder to see than the exploits in PvP.

I see certain player names across 5 different trading guilds buying particular commodities (such as alchemy ingredients) lower than a set pricepoint then reselling them for a fixed price.

If all 5 of your precious guild slots are trade guilds, then you are not playing the game, you are playing the economy. And like all price speculation, it drives up the price of goods for the consumer. Please go back to EVE. We don't want you here.

Console players are playing the same game are they not? Just because you don't have addons doesn't make any difference as all the discussions etc are about the core of the game - which is the same across all platforms, all the issues affect mostly all the platforms the same way. And since communicating is much easier and straightforward on PC, as you just send a prior mail, jump on TS and done, and also the PC playerbase is much older and established and understand the game fundamentally much better than console players, minus the transfers obviously. (Not meaning this in a nasty or elitist way, it's just a fact)

And remember, there are players who play on PC and Console at the same time, so they might bring up issues which might be exclusive to consoles only, which i really can't see at the moment, all issues are the same everywhere and any upcoming changes will also be the same for everyone.

@Yolokin_Swagonborn no thanks we will stay here
in any mmo must be a good and huge economy system with complex rulers as any other economic system in the world

and i like to re-selling stuff all day long, and receive very good weekly profirt for this - usually like 4-5 millions
its enough, when i usually sold this gold on the black market - to pay all my bills, to buy all food i desire, to buy cloth for me and my wife and even for my fresh born kid

if you wanna the game without trading sysem - go back to tetris :)

The funny thing with all the "photoshop" comments is that there would be no need to do that, the mail didn't come from ZOS so all that would be required is for one person to send this. xD
