That comment reflects the sentiments of over 600 highly active DC pvpers. Which is probably the majority of your remaining daily player base in DC.
I'm sure some disagree, but the statement above is fact.
It creates a toxic environment in zone because, obviously, those players are trolled when they come in. And so their friends who maybe don't cross-faction in the same campaign feel the need to defend......And then all hell brakes lose.
Give them a chance to choose each month at the start of the campaign, or something. But seeing XYZ as blue one night, and then in the same campaign seeing them on red during the same 24-hour span is just....stupid.
Faction lock is dumb. Let people play with their friends. Your stupid beef with people from other factions is just that, stupid. It's a game. It's meant to be fun. Not being able to play with your friends is not fun. That's why they started fixing diverging quest lines, so you wouldn't be forced out of grouping with your friends if you hit the wrong option.
I agree. Let those friends play together...IN PVE DUNGEON CRAWLS!!!
So no, you pick a faction you stay with it. You wanna play with your friends? Then roll a toon to play with them. If they aren't willing to help you level, then maybe they aren't as much a friend as you thought. It's all good in PvE, but PvP needs boundries. There's already enough spying and crap going on. Troll scroll carriers etc. No, just no on multi-faction on the same campaign. It's already happening anyway when people buy a second account. Of course ZoS don't mind that, cause it's just money to them. They could care less about the integrity of the game, community or players involved.

@Darlgon It was working the last time I checked (which was a while ago), but with Azurah, it's really easy to see whether it's working or not, so I can check again. The values are really small though, when you consider each use of a Masonry Repair Kit restores 2,500 HP; at Level 2, wall regeneration is 10 HP every 20 seconds, up to 15 HP every 20 seconds at Level 4.At the risk of being foolish... are the keep upgrades even working? Specifically the wall and door upgrades? I thought the walls were supposed to upgrade and heal themselves up to 100. Most, if not all keeps, IF they even do this, must take 2 hours or more to bring the walls back to 100%, because I am constantly seeing walls, after the upgrades, sitting at 82% around the entire keep. In another game, where I was constantly repairing walls, (just like I pretty much spend 80% of my AP doing here), I could actually see a wall go up from 82% to 83% while I was repairing the wall next to it. Here.. I can do an entire keep with all the walls at 82%, repair each up to 90, then go around again and start at 90 to 91. Is it that slow, does the timer reset when a player repairs, (which would be pretty stupid, sorry), or is it broken?
I think the resource upgrades need to be more efficient. Maybe base values should be lower, and each separate upgrade should be worth more, so that it's more obvious that they provide a tangible bonus.
If that is truly how the vast majority of DC PVPers feel about it, I can speak for at least one player who will PVP only for red and yellow and never for blue when the campaign restrictions are removed.NPK Daniel wrote: »I can speak for our team and the other largest DC guild supports this more so than I:

I rarely agree with what Daniel has to say but I was wondering if it was possible for you that even if you have a different opinion with someone, you don't necessary call him stupid or idiot while stating your point?FireCowCommando wrote: »Im not sure if other players agree with me, but i feel its time for ZoS to go back and redesign the layout for keeps. Thought when zone chat calls certain DC toons spies, its an inside joke. If ZOS considers faction lock in pvp a good idea, they need to consider toon transfer as well. Otherwise it will fail because no one wants to grind a new toon.
NPC's that use "player based abilities" that cause CC, should award players a cc immunity.
And the counters for those spells should exist as well (ccbreak for negate, Templar purge for meteor/block, etc.)
Yes, it definitely takes too long. Walls have base HP of 200,000, up to 225,000 at Level 1, 250,000 at Level 3, and 275,000 at Level 5. Corner build-outs start at 175,000 when they are unlocked at Level 2, up to 200,000 at Level 3 and 225,000 at Level 5. Postern Houses start at 185,000 when they unlock at Level 3, up to 210,000 at Level 5.Soo.. using those numbers..and,@Darlgon It was working the last time I checked (which was a while ago), but with Azurah, it's really easy to see whether it's working or not, so I can check again. using my 2.5k repair kits making up 1% of a wall..
makes an entire wall 250k hp?
10 hp / 20 sec
30 hp / min
2500 hp / (30 hp/min)
83.3 min
so a wall regens the equivalent of ONE repair kit in OVER AN HOUR?
That.. might as well not be happening.
To regen the 82% up to 100 before the next wall upgrade would take...
18 x 83.3 min = 1500 min or 25 HOURS?
REALLY?

Always kill mage guards. Mage guards have the old negate it's OP -_- at least it's not the healing morph though.
