they are popping a shadow ability right before their screen shots to gain the passive buff 5280 physical and spell resistance for 5+ seconds
Actually my armor and spell resistance jumps to over 19k with the shadow buff. I should note it wasn't active.

I'm at about 325 champion points and a good number in elemental damage reduction. I can tell that fire causes more damage, but with Vigor and Rally it's hardly noticeable. No issues standing next to Valkyn Scoria on the platforms doing melee damage for instance. I'm actually considering dropping my health a little more.0 -

Just curious. I never like to run with less than 20k hp myself. I only have 260 champ points though so maybe that helps make up for the lower hp.0 -

I do. Previously I ran Nights Silence and Ravager, but picked up vamp when I moved to Hundings for the movement speed while in stealth. I've had a few deaths from evil hunter but it's a sacrifice I was willing to make for full speed in stealth. As a Nightblade I get to pick my battles and I hit hard enough to put down most quickly and if I choose to disengage I can do so.
I would drop in a heartbeat if I had a way to get the movement speed with my current gear, but at this point it's just a compromise for convenience.0 -

Gelassenheit✭✭Without any buffs, in my standard tanking gear:
My current maximum HP, using mono +Health food
My usual tanking set up, with tri stat food
In all cases I go to 35.8k resists with buffs.
I can get my HP about 2K higher without changing any of the other stats by just changing out a few pieces of gear, but I just haven't gotten those particular pieces yet, or have just been too lazy to craft them, or about 6k higher by sacrificing ~3k stam and ~3k magicka.

Oh and this is on PC; I just liked the look of the console character window in the other screenshots, so temporarily switched!
What gear do you use if you do not mind me asking? I have just changed my stam v16 nightblade into a magic user and am trying to build that up right now. Curious if it any gear from the new dlc that PC got little bit ago that PS4 users will get next week.0 -

It's cuz NB have low cost Class Skills (Funnel Health does 7.5k damage for me, and costs only 900 Magicka) and we have means to regen Magicka by simply attacking someone (Siphoning Attacks)
So yeah, we can sacrifice Magicka Regen for a bit of Spell Crit/Damage. "Stand strong, stay true and shelter all."

Even for PvE situations having 1500 regen is fine. If you are running with a templar with repentance and shards you never need worry about regen for pve and could actually live with less. 1400 seems to be my sweet spot.0 -

Ganker and group player and 1300 regen is fine for me. When you can kill someone in like 3 hits and your costs are low, regen isn't really an issue. The only time it would be is to spam DC to reposition yourself.1 -

I am. My build is built for pure ganking, but it also works in PVE because of shards and repentance from Templar. I am working on a sustain build so I can do regular PvP better.

I'm a NB too don't get me wrong if you've built your char for ganking that's far enough. i like to go in guns blazing though so my NB sacrifices WD for sustain. I can take most opponents with less than 3400 but there's quite a few well build DK tanks that I've stalemated with.0 -
