I am. My build is built for pure ganking, but it also works in PVE because of shards and repentance from Templar. I am working on a sustain build so I can do regular PvP better.
I'm a NB too don't get me wrong if you've built your char for ganking that's far enough. i like to go in guns blazing though so my NB sacrifices WD for sustain. I can take most opponents with less than 3400 but there's quite a few well build DK tanks that I've stalemated with.

all my utility comes from magicka, so if anything stam regen being low doesnt bother me. And with dodge roll and block nerf might as well go a gankers build. I honestly forgot those existed. I'd miss the magicka regen even as a stamblade though for cloak and fear. Unless they exist in health buff, magicka regen and stamina regen xD

Ganker and group player and 1300 regen is fine for me. When you can kill someone in like 3 hits and your costs are low, regen isn't really an issue. The only time it would be is to spam DC to reposition yourself.
i wonder your survivability in 1vX fights though. Ganking your good cause high burst from stealth. Group your good because of protection and heals from group along with less aggro on you. However, in 1vX open world i imagine it is tough to overcome.
Personally, I run with 3 different styles all for 1vX mainly? My 3 pc set is ashen grip in all setups and 3 willpower. I run a mix of weapon and stamina recovery glyphs on the jewelry. I run weapon damage buff on weapon glyphs.
Shield breaker set (2 types): Note; I run this set for the main purposes of trolling sorcs. It is not everyday wear. My feeling is that if a sorc is just going to spam shields i am just going to spam shield breaker cause your dumb. The good sorcs avoid this and shield breaker only works on them as an execute if i manage to out skill them in the fight to get them to that point. This is why I run 2 sets. one is for selling out completely against shield spamming sorcs and get owned by the skilled ones or the second way which trades off some sustain for more damage to counter the skilled sorcs.
Type 1: (this is the more sustain choice)
- 2800 stamina regen, magika regen 1100, 3100 weapon damage.
Type 2: (more damage setup
-2500 stamina regen, 1100 magika regen, 3500 weapon damage
Hundings rage
-2400 stam regen, 1100 magika regen, 3800 weapon damage (with regen mundus stone) or
-2100 stam regen, 1100 magika regen, 4000+ weapon damage.
I have found these setups suitable for all playstyles of stamina build. Even effective ganking while maintaing solid 1vX capabilities.

Missing a mettle passive because my Engine shoulders are light and Engine helmet has a stamina V16 enchantment that I have no intention of changing because well, Well Fitted trait.. lol.

Yes, without any buffs in cyrodiil (except bonus health of battle spirit), all keeps and scrolls on the map was yellow.
I use purple food vr15.
My armor is for this stats =
- 5 willow's path
hat, infused, max magicka, light armor
epaulets, divines, max magicka, light armor
gloves, divines, max magicka, light armor
breeches, infused, max magicka, light armor
boots, divines, max magicka, medium armor
- 4 Magnus
Cuirass, infused, max magicka, heavy armor
sash, divines, max magicka, light armor
2 swords nirnhoned trait, enchants : one disease and one prismatic enchant
Resto staff, defending trait, absorb magicka enchant.
- 3 willpower (arcane)
necklace spell damages enchant,
2 rings with magicka recovery enchant (or 1 on spell damages depends of what you want, more sustain or spell damages)

I know you and Smiff. I run into you guys in Cyrodiil all the time. Smiff uses an uppercut macro from stealth. I've found that if he can't succeed with his macro, he's not difficult to beat. Detect pots and immobilizes are his weakness.
Edit: I should mention that Smiff has good stats. I believe he's dialed in his build pretty well, and if manages to land one of his wrecking blows, it's generally strong enough to kill you, or gain him the edge he needs to lock in a kill.
