My biggest problems with this game

There is something terribly wrong with this game

And it has nothing to do with nerfs, load screens, bugs, etc.

It is the Copy/Paste Customer Service that absolutely fails to meet expectations.
And then when they do not copy/paste, the response the community gives

Now, for starters, i do not mean all of the service is bad, Lets talk about the good, and why the player community is to blame in some aspects.
Some of the people still give their all to this game, most specifically i notice Gina and Rich commenting on many posts recently. Gina is like a forum superstar, and she tells us more than we would ever get from these other robotic moderators ZoS employs. We need more Gina. ZoS needs to hire people like her to run costumer service. THIS GIRL NEEDS A PROMOTION.

Now for the bad on the part of a community.

So i was actually disgusted when i read this thread:
forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/2435588#Comment_2435588
The community asks a question about a bug fix. Rich jumps in and answers. perfect. done. No wait, lets all attack Rich and say something along the lines of "when are the new bugs going to be fixed from this fix?" You know what? That is rude. You should have been raised better than that. And I noticed many threads like this where a Dev gives an answer, then immediately gets flamed. You want more communication from ZoS? Stop burning the bridges!

My biggest problem. Customer Service (outside the Devs). If you can call it that.
This copy/paste form of responses sicken me. Not everything is a standard case, and each person should receive a personal response. That is what we pay you to do, right? I am not the only person who feels this way, i know. But when i get a response that clearly was from a list of automated responses with my name slapped on it, I get angry. I feel unheard, and that nothing will come of the conversation. What is strange is that it felt more customized early in the game, then recently became this standard.

The second part, the Forum Moderators. Why do they seem so robotic? why close threads that clearly are thoughtful topics? Why do they seem so angry all the time? (yes i understand saying robotic and angry are contradictive, lets just call them angry robots). The worst is when a thread is deleted. DO NOT DO THIS. Unless it is to protect the integrity of the Game and the thread could potentially destroy lives, it should not be deleted. And banning people for trolling, deleting a post that could get a simple snip to fix, that makes no sense.

The third part, communication. I said above that the keyboard warriors will attack any update the Devs give us. But some of us actually want to hear the exact lineup of bugs/fixes/changes being worked on, patched in, and set for a future time, and will not say anything against those fixes. A checklist form of what, not specifically when, we should expect.

P.S. if anything here breaks CoC, please, edit it and tell me. Do not flat out delete post and suspend me, because i made sure NOT to break the CoC.

Well written, but understand when they may not have time to reply with a personal response due to the amount of mail they receive.

Hope Gina, Rich, and any Moderators know that the majority of us appreciate being kept in the loop on what is going on, including the bug/patch fixes. Irritates the crap out of me when they get banged on by some keyboard clowns.

While i agree that they may not have the time, it is more of an insult than anything when I receive a response that means they care nothing of my plight. (I hope I am speaking for everyone here)

And yes, they seem to be starting to understand, and I absolutely loved when Gina posted the "State of the Game" thread.

I'd rather a human response a few days later than a scripted one a few days earlier.

What WOULD be appropriate, is to have script filler responses, such as " A customer service rep will answer your questions personally, when they can".
That's about as much script as I would like them to do.

Truth is, if you're overwhelmed with work/projects, you bring on more employees.
    Simple as that.

Out of 4 tickets I've submitted, 2 of them were the wrong scripts.
    That's a 50% error rate right there.lol

The copy/paste responses infuriate me. 90% of the time those copy/ pastes have nothing to do with what the body of your ticket says!

Oh. The OP forgot: Don't have a sense of humor on the forum or risk being chastised, or, at least, be very careful with your humor - very, very careful.

    It's annoying.

    You guys sound high maintenance.

And I don't find the forum mods to be that bad. In fact... there was one time I reported a post because I found it offensive. it wasn't taken down, so I reported it again. I was then contacted about the post and was told that it was not offensive that it was simply a meme. I explained the origin of the meme and that taken in context of the thread I found the post extremely offensive. Their response was that they do not think it is offensive and that post remains to this day. How hard would it have been to just remove the post, especially when it added nothing to the conversation and was offensive to a pretty active forum user?

It's a matter of perspective. All of it. My being offended, ZOS thinking the post was ok, and your thinking the moderators are harsh.

Harsh, in general, no. Robotic and lacking some humor, yes. Over all though, I think they do a pretty good job.

I wish we could discuss details, but I found an action someone took against someone else very harsh.
