I like this. Post about how he would never PvP again, day later posts about his woes in PvP. Credibility forever tarnished.
I was told there were duels being arranged, so I shot in for some quick bouts, not participate in the PvP mechanics I was annoyed with in that post.

I would start playing this game again if they introduced some form of small-scale pvp.

Zergs are just so gay. And by gay I mean homosexual.

Game is built for sieging, not for dueling.

people need to come to grips with this already. it's NOT a 1vs1 game. it's just not.

it's not Mortal Kombat, or Street Fighter, or Tekken. it's not Call of Duty, or Destiny, or any other lobby shooter (aka Arena).

it's a spiritual successor to Dark Age of Camelot. which is PVP on a large scale. large scale. meaning large groups. aka "zerg". sieging castles and large-scale open world pvp. that is what the game was designed for.

1vs1 isn't a priority in this game, nor should it ever be. you'll be lucky if they ever even put in a 4vs4 Arena, to be honest.

quit insulting players for playing the game the way it was meant to be played. it's not their fault that this game isn't designed for the kind of PVP you want. you are crying for this game to be something its not, rather than playing games that are what you want. it's your fault for trying to fit a square peg in a round hole and coming to the forums crying because it doesn't fit.

No this game ISN'T made for large scale siege. Go into a large scale fight and your ping is over 9k and the frames go to crap. When the servers can handle zergs then tell us PvPers to stop asking for small scale combat, smh.

Why does everyone have something to complain about with this game?

If I was ZOS, I wouldn't even read these forums. People will find something to complain about all the time yet still play the game over 6 hours a day lol.

    Cant have it all.

I was riding around in cyrodiil yesterday when I saw a DC fighting a EP. Im from DC, so I tried to help him because he was almost down.

When I entered combat the DC stopped to fight and the EP attcked me. I play NB and everytime I cloaked and tried to attack from stealth the DC guy came to me and showed the EP my position so he could kill me easily...

If this is the way duelling is meant in cyrodiil, then no thanks.

Ban both for grief playing and Im fine.

But what about "play as you like"?

Meanwhile, I guess if you want a 1v1 circle, you must do it in secret just like some illegal gang fight.

I would like my lvl 1 character just created to kill a player with 501 CP and gold gear while holding a stick cause I would like to as you say "play as I like"

Zenimax made a huge mistake with that slogan. It makes people think play as you like means if I want it I get it. Haiz play ad you like means you can play any class any way you want, not change how the game is made. But if that's your point I want my lvl 1 character to strip naked and take down molag kena who is vr 16 NAO!

Technically it isn't griefing. If the DC player was helping the EP find you, it's just an underhanded tactic. I've been in duels before where other faction members would show up and start attacking whoever I was fighting. I would simply stop and say that we are dueling in /say, if they didn't stop then the other person would kill them and we would go back to our duels. Most people though when I tell them stop go about their pvp business. In other cases, they stay, watch, and/or participate.

Either way, dueling is not meant in Cyrodiil by default and there are no official ground rules. Dueling guilds have rules that their duelers go by and usually respect them when duels are happening.

Not everyone is like that. I agree it's a pretty low tactic to show your position, especially if interfering was completely by accident.
