Magicka nightblade saptank.
Not really rare, though, but I still get lots of reactions along the lines of, "Nightblades can be tanks?!"
I absolutely love it, though. It started out as a gear-swap build that I added to my magicka nightblade dps/healer to experiment with tanking, but these days with the shortage of tanks, I'm in my tank suit 90% of the time. It's tons of fun to play: I have decent resource management and can dish out tons of damage (unbuffed spell power of over 1800; should be over 2000 once I switch from Whitestrake to Kagrenac for my tank set), and although I don't sport super-high resistances as a result, my self-healing keeps me alive.
NB Tank is very OLD...

This is what I'm talking about. How the heck do you heal with Dragonknight. You would have to use mainly resto staff abilities.

I'm currently leveling one myself, a Breton Vampire Dragonknight Healer.

Igneous Shields does a lot of lifting, Obsidian Shard can do a little work in a pinch (plus it gives allies minor buff). Barrier as an Ultimate and a few other tricks.

I only see battlemages on PVP side not as much on PVE. I know they have Heavy Armor skills and Phoenix Set.

Those don't heal though they just provide protection. I was asking how do you heal. Or is it strictly heals over time?
What kind of healing powers do you use. And don't say Blood Altar lol

I have a build that I don't think anyone else would ever do: Imperial Dragon Knight, Magic Focus, 5/2 Heavy/Light, Destro Staff/Sword and Board, 5 Pieces Seducer/5 Pieces Soul Shine.
Kind of a Tankmage if anything.

The ability to negate, control and anticipate damage is a powerful thing.
Do you use mage guild skill line?
