Anyone know of a build that works for this? I'm sure it's out there... but whether or not it works is another question.
I've been hearing that the mist form is worth looking at.

Mist form is only 75% mitigation and you can't attack nor get healed while in that form, bosses that do a lot of damage to you even when you blocking normally will most likely kill you if you use mistform. It might work in the old vet and normal dungeons but I would not recommend it for trials or IC dungeons.1 -
There is a lot of fire damage in the game (always has been) and any benefits of Vampire get drastically outweighed the negatives...
You are going into many boss encounters at a disadvantage, and will stress out your healer..1
