    I'm in total agreement with daswahnsinn, that we should be patient and allow Zenimax time to work through their issues, but this is ABSURD! One could argue that this is only a video game and that Zenimax isn't in the health care industry, so no ones life is in jeopardy here, but you're offering a service where some members are paying a monthly subscription fee and the game is down for 10+ hours, two days in a row?! Personally, I'm not buying that this was a "planned" maintenance, rather this sounds more like a production outage that they're looking to resolve. Instead of providing spurious apologies, ZOS should give their subs some sort of compensation (an additional 500 crowns or something..) regardless of the fact if this was a planned maintenance or not.

    I also understand that no company would want to air their dirty laundry in forum post, but for the love of god, show some sympathy here, especially for those of us who have been loyal subscribers since the original launch.

    i just bought the game like friday, maybe, and its definitely a great first impression for it to be down two days out of the five days i've had the game

    MY goodness.You all do know that problems arise right. Problems that cause delays if it helps the game in the long run why complain. Those wanting compensation guess what they can take the servers down whenever, where ever and for however long they want and don't owe us it's in the TOS it's in the TOS because issues happen.

    Till then I will mess around in a another game i am not really invested in and online looking up things for my build. It's not the end of the world there were times WOW was unplayable for days after expansions they are getting ready for Orisinum so that on release day there are not a whole bunch of issues (which are still possible) Relax a little, let them work, you'll survive

    I agree with some sort of in game compensation, however I really want to see the MOP for this maintenance and see where they went wrong. I understand that this will happened, being an IT professional myself, but they need to have some sort of redundancy or a alternate back out plan versus marching ahead and making the outage longer than what is need. Yesterday the proved they really didn't know what they were doing, and again they went for round two.

    The servers have been down for 9 hrs now. let ZOS do whatever it is they are doing but dang, give us an update on what is going on or something. Please.

    LMAO two days in a row I get home unusually late, and can't log in at midnight to do writs/pledges, and 2 days in a row I get to pc JUST as maint starts, and 2 days in a row the maint takes 'extra time'

    Is this a new trend? :(

    Can I see the MOP file for the maintenance to see where you guys need help? I think it is about time you started asking for it. We haven't seen an outage like this since release. Also can you please provide a RFO tomorrow when services are restored.

    Yay, I hate missing a day or two of game play but the hardware upgrades are promising. It means the base continues to grow. I just wish they would release Fallout 4 two weeks early so I would have something good to do with my downtime.

    The only reason why I ask is I have to provide MOPs and RFOs for my customers at work, so it doesn't seem to be out of the realm of possibility.

Any glitches or bug fixes are for YOU... Because ZOS addresses more problems than most, they have more fixes, which take time. So get your stuff together and let them work for you, dimtwit....

    Basically they had unexpected issues with the EU servers and it delayed what they wanted to fix yesterday, but according to their post it was suppose to take upwards of 6 hours and we are on hour 9 now!

    I really think ZOS has lost any competent employee they once had (if ever had) for this kind of work.

    Just posted an update in the main thread, but unfortunately we need to extend maintenance until 6:00pm EDT today. As we mentioned yesterday, this is basically a preventative maintenance for the datacenter, and these upgrades need to be done in order to avoid running into issues in the future.

    So these are upgrades for data center? I wonder what upgrades need to be done to fix LOADING SCREEN ISSUES.
