So can somebody please tell me the differences between DSA vet and DSA normal? (besides the lives and the v14 scaling) I would greatly appreciate it.

    There is generally one+ extra mechanic per stage on vet. Such as the circles of protection in the first stage healing the fighters guild guys. Or the fires going out on the ice stage. Im sure someone can give a more detailed rundown if you would like, but that's the general difference.

    Dragonstar Arena, a 4-person challenge with 9 levels located in the northern part of the Craglorn zone. It has a hilariously rude announcer that makes fun of every fail.

    Well DSA normal, is just your average guy working for the Driving Standards Agency, and DSA Vet is a guy who's spent all his life working for the Driving Standards Agency and has or is due to retire.

    Yeah it is fun, and some folks called it DA when it first came out, but DSA quickly became the standard.

    Dragonstar Arena = DSA
    It's a 4 mans group dungeon, that has 10 stages and each stage has a couple of rounds of adds and a boss. It takes time to finish, it is hard for the avarage player.

    @Chibs
    veteran DSA is much harder to complete than normal dsa, because of it's overload of mechanics.

    It looks and feels the same for most parts, but with few exceptions. Things are a bit harder to take down, as their health is higher.

    -The Frozen Ring stage, the fire runs out and you all die unless one member fetches a torch and lights the fire. You dont do that on normal DSA.
    -The Slave Pit stage you have to ignore the slavers, and the healer has to heal everyone out of it - because if you take one down, another will spawn. In normal you can take all enemies down.
    -The Grove stage you have to take down archers as fast as possible. If not, their hands will glow green-blueish and they will shoot an arrow that will drain all your resources - you can try to bash them while they're shooting or dodge the arrow. The boss on this stage is also an archer, and the team have to kill her before any adds or lurchers, otherwise she will drain you all and you wipe - she can not be bashed. In normal DSA the arrows will not strike as hard, and will not leech you of all 3 resources.
    -The Crypts of the Lost stage is problematic. The minibossses become unkillable while they have a blue glow on their feets, so one damage dealer has to go down and kill mobs downstairs alone, when they are dead the minibosses can be damaged. The minibosses do some attacks that hit very very hard. In normal all 4 group members stay upstairs.
    -The Champion's Arena stage - The boss spawns 2 adds at a time, depending on how low his health gets, meanwhile lots of mobs and fire blossoms on ground. It's a fire hell and harder than the previous 9 stages. In normal the boss only spawns 2 adds at a time, depending on his health and the team gets fire rings on them, that they can place around the edges, to leave middle area clean.

    It is recomended that you do this first time with an experienced and good group, who are all fully equipped in set armors to minimum blue quality. Preferably a group member who can call out when and where specific mobs will spawn, that needs to be dealth with fast.

    Also AoE is a must for damage dealers, and high single target damage. Avoid grouping with people for this, who let their "I wanna play as I want" get in the way of their skills.

    Google and watch some videos of vDSA before you do it, and read online guides. The more information you and your group have about vDSA, the easier the run is going to be.
