As many have pointed out here, EP is the obvious choice for the veteran ES players: Morrowind players mostly.
Wouldn't truly veteran ES players be more likely to play DC? After all, Daggerfall came out long before Morrowind, and I'd think that the true vets who played it would be more interested to see the setting of that game updated, rather than going back to lands that have been explored in more recent TES games. Plus, DC has Stros M'kai for anyone nostalgic for Redguard (which I never played myself, but I recently picked up on the cheap and am going to play to see how Stros M'kai was portrayed in that game).

This was precisely the reason I originally voted for DC. I just got out voted sadly.
My main (not my highest level character, or the one that I play the most, but I still consider him my main for various reasons) is DC, and I picked DC partly for those same reasons :)
    Caius Drusus Imperial DK (DC)
    Bragg Ironhand Orc Temp (DC)
    Neesha Stalks-Shadows Argonian NB (EP)
    Falidir Altmer Sorcr (AD)
    J'zharka Khajiit NB (AD)
    Isabeau Runeseer Breton Sorc (DC)
    Fevassa Dunmer DK (EP)
    Manut Redguard Temp (AD)
Tylera the Summoner Altmer Sorc (EP)
    Svari Snake-Blood Nord DK (AD)
    Ashlyn D'Elyse Breton NB (EP)
    Filindria Bosmer Temp (DC)
Vigbjorn the Wanderer Nord Warden (EP)
    Hrokki Winterborn Breton Warden (DC)
    Basks-in-the-Sunshine Argonian Temp
    Someone stole my sweetroll

The AD region(forgot the name) has never been featured in an Elder Scrolls game before(to my knowledge), so a lot of people were interested in AD because of that.
You get a chocolate chip cookie. This is the reason I picked AD. When I rolled my second character, I stuck with AD.

The landscape is pretty nice in Auridon and what's not to love about Reaper's March (which I hold as my favorite area of the game).

I also enjoyed the story lines of AD better than the other two, who were lead by the most worthless of rulers. Jorunn, I wanted to shave his beard and shove down his throat and I hated Emerich's lack of a spine and smelling like flowers and mint.

Can't wait to see Elsewyr, which I'm hoping isn't added to the game as PvP.

DC has, by far, the best looking zones.

Alik'r is the most beautiful zone in Tamreil. I love it. I just wish they release The Elder Scrolls VI: Hammerfell

We have Nords instead. Pretty much the same, just tall instead of short.

They should at least give us dwarf polymorph. Fantasy game with no dwarves... that's just wrong.

Make the shortest, fattest Bosmer you can, with an angular or heroic face, give him a big beard and a hammer and there ya go:

I know.. yes I did make him EP because it seemed to fit a 'dwarf' well, the rocky landscapes and nord style

    DC has the nicest beaches

?? Naah. AD has the most incredible beaches in the whole game.Khenarthi's Roost is surrounded by them. They're riddled with ship wreckage and chests,etc..And so many quests are based near the beautiful beaches surrounding Auridon.

It's really funny, that the human race is the strongest in both magicka(Bretons) and stamina(imperial) compared to elves.

    Go DC.
I actually support this idea. If too many people joins AD, we'll end up with no meat to kill.

I started at DC on the PC version. I'm not a pc gamer and i knew this game was comming to consoles so i quited my redguard DK on DC at vet 2. When for some reason i couldn't get my pc character back on my console which at the time i was kinda bumped out off. i chose to reroll for EP. I had seen the whole DC area which i started to play because i wanted to see those area's, had done the start of AD so i though let's go to EP on consoles where for me the area like it is in ESO is new for me. And i stuck with them for all my champs. if you choose for a faction stay with that faction. you don't switch to a different football team just because you move. no you are fan of that team cause you like them ;)

I take it this is your first Elder Scrolls game? There are no living dwarves, because they all vanished mysteriously long ago, during the same event that resulted in the dark elves looking so distinctly different from other elves.

In a nutshell, the the dwarves (dwemer) were trying to harness the power of the Heart of Lorkhan (Lorkhan was the creator god who convinced the Aedra to help him create Nirn) during the Battle of Red Mountain (they were engaged in a massive war with the dunmer - who were then known as the chimer). It didn't go as planned, and all of the dwemer disappeared, leaving behind only their ruins, constructs, and artifacts.

Dwarven ruins and artifacts play a large role in ESO, as well as other Elder Scrolls games. Just because there aren't any living dwarves (OK, OK, there is one, but he hasn't made an appearance in ESO, and he's unlikely to do so) doesn't mean that this is a game with no dwarves.

I was half joking, but I still appreciate your write-up. Thanks.
