It seems that in Cyrodiil, on every campaign or almost every campaign, DC is vastly outnumbered most of the time, with maybe to to three hours where they're pop-locked with the other two factions also pop-locked.
Any theories?

Because of the attitude around the so-called "top" players.
Sorry, what kind of elitism is that? "Skyrim fanbabies"?Rust_in_Peace wrote: »EP = Skyrim fanbabies

The Ebonheart Pact is the most unlikely of the three alliances. The Nords and Dark Elves have a long history of conflict, and the Argonians were enslaved by the Dark Elves for thousands of years. ...
Jorunn, of Eastern Skyrim, is acting High King of the Great Moot, but he does not rule absolutely. His decisions must be ratified by all three races in a unique form of governance called The Great Moot. ...
We're talking about DC and they're commonly accused on being elitist.anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »

So far I haven't read much things that spoilt the game for me yet (a lot less actually that I could read about Skyrim on the Bethsoft forums). There are also lots of vocabulary I don't even understand. My current characters are level 7 and 5. I don't really play them one after another in order to have them levelling in parallel; I just pick up one that I feel like playing.anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »However, in order to NOT GET frustrated at SOME POINT, you might consider leveling one of your characters to level VR1 first, instead of leveling all 3 in parallel. Ah, thank you. Oh, by the way, didn't I read somewhere that veterans ranks are due to be removed?anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »VR = Veteran Rank.
ESO has 66 levels : 50 standard levels and 16 veteran ranks. ... Once you've reached level 50 you become "VR1" or "Veteran Rank 1" and you have access to Veteran dungeons and Craglorn. But still you have 15 more "levels" to "progress" before reaching max level.
Funny, I've never considered any ES game as "finished". Replaying the same quests with different characters has never been a problem for me. There's always something new to see, unless ESO is very different...anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »For many people that's where the game ends ...
Yes, it couldn't possibly have anything to do with people just liking the EP races.Asherons_Call wrote: »IKilled007 wrote: »I am just curious as to why most players roll(ed) EP, followed by AD, with a small minority rolling DC. Or maybe we wanted to see daggerfall again, since most of the kids wanted skyrim online and are more recent to the series, unlike myself and many of my guild mates that actually remember the original tes games....
Considering daggerfall is quite a bit older than both skyrim and morrowind , it seems more likely that kids play EP

Nope, not even close. You must be color blind as the only ones who have that kind of population to run that many is the EP. Occasionally the AD can run that many, but the DC is usually outnumbered four to one minimum.
I take it this is your first Elder Scrolls game? There are no living dwarves, because they all vanished mysteriously long ago, during the same event that resulted in the dark elves looking so distinctly different from other elves.

Wouldn't truly veteran ES players be more likely to play DC? After all, Daggerfall came out long before Morrowind, and I'd think that the true vets who played it would be more interested to see the setting of that game updated, rather than going back to lands that have been explored in more recent TES games. Plus, DC has Stros M'kai for anyone nostalgic for Redguard (which I never played myself, but I recently picked up on the cheap and am going to play to see how Stros M'kai was portrayed in that game).ladyonthemoon wrote: »As many have pointed out here, EP is the obvious choice for the veteran ES players: Morrowind players mostly.
