It is only about grinding, ganking and zerging.
All PvP players I know are already back in Cyrodiil
where you can find real gameplay instead of the IC nonsense.
For crafters, I really hope that Orsisium will fix the mess,
making V15/V16 mats available with reasonable fun again.
The stone loss is much too high IMO. Went with a group to do some PvP in one of the districts last night and all 3 alliances were there going at it. Our group started doing well, stayed alive for a decent amount of time with good coordination. Then BAM one death and nearly all that effort erased. One death and almost nothing to show for it. What's the point?
It totally sucks the fun out of PvP. Should I head to the bank every 5m to bank my stones? Lame.
How much sense does it make that the safest/best way to farm in a PvP area is to go mob killing and avoid other players?

They all drop loot that decons into VR16 Matts
All the Agily, Endurance, and willpwer weapons and jewels drop there(where i got mine)
You cna farm the tar out of gold that can be used to buy matts and save yourself the headache,

Really?
Can anyone confirm that the dungeons drop Willpower?

Cannot agree with this more!
I came back to ESO when IC was released just to want to quit againand even though Orsinium seems cool, how am I gonna do anything alone when my gear is still rank 14 and I can't craft because I don't have the time to grind??

You get the raw mats from nodes in Orsinium, and then refine them into the mats you need.

You realize this is a game, right? You know? Like, that thing you do after you work for 35+ hours a week and then go to the university and study so you can eventually become a contributing member of society rather than some freak living in their parents' basement, talking about how they need "alone time," and mooching off their working friends - but all the while bragging about how freakin AWESOME they are ... at a video game.
But I'm sure that's not you. Really.
To the OP: That does suck. Particularly the part about leading the boss to drain your health. This is one of the reasons I won't spend a lot of time in the IC.

2 Daggerfall players decide to stealth near my farming spot and wait for me to get low so they can gank me, which is fair, right? but what's annoying is that they purposely drag a boss into me, go stealth with NB cloak so I get aggro and then they gank me with the very last hit so that they get all my stones and run back off to base.
Why do you reward these type of players? why? I'm simply done with IC now and the polymorph of RNG isn't even worth the time.
Unfortunately it's pvp - not everyone has the same mentality to leave players alone. It's either kill or be killed. I in no way condone ganking, but when you're after more stones and see someone struggling with a few NPCs, the temptation to stick a knife in their back is overwhelming.OT: I would let another alliance players alone, because I want to be left alone too. The grinding is tiring enough as it is, the last thing I want is a constant revenge between factions. I am tired of gankers. For some reason, I just can't stomach that kind of mentality in the first place.

the next thing, maybe will happen...is when enemy (tat you leave alone) see you on farming, they will kill you.
"often people have it wrong, mistakenly believing... that showing mercy to an enemy is kindness. They spare the foe whose life is in their hands... But don't you see? It's an empty existence... to go on living... alone and unloved... when defeat's already cost you your dream!" haku..
or maybe...in the 1% chance enemy will leave u alone.. happy farming..
Use Detect Invisibility potions and learn to play, expect to be ganked, it you can adapt, you can have a lot of fun, if not you're screwed.
Aaaaand another cry and whine thread from someone getting ganked in IC because he knows nothing about self-protection and situational awereness...

Er, maybe we've been playing different versions of IC, but zerging is one of the biggest issues. People group into massive balls to sweep through NPCs and smaller groups of players. It's been a fairly large issue that numerous people have mentioned. Pretty much from its release, the zergs out in Cyro itself moved over to IC.This kind of game play is what I like about the Imperial City.
It's fun, unpredictbale, varied. You prefer the same keep zerging over and over?
Alliance PvP was a lot better with mercenaries and forward camps. More options = more strategies = more variety.
Imperial City is what I've been longing for from this game.
