The IC is the worst DLC I've bought this year.
It is only about grinding, ganking and zerging.

All PvP players I know are already back in Cyrodiil
where you can find real gameplay instead of the IC nonsense.

For crafters, I really hope that Orsisium will fix the mess,
making V15/V16 mats available with reasonable fun again.

Overall, it just seems to me that Imperial City was unfinished. What is the point of the Districts? just people dying and respawning in seconds.

Really think there should have been one central spawn location, then you need to run back to the district you want to be in. Having spawn locations so close in each district is just wrong and creates spawn camping. Plus the penalty of dying is there with having to run back to the district you were in. 80% loss of TV Stones is just silly. It should have been an increasing value starting out lower and gradually increasing based on dying to often or other factors.

If Zenimax wants Imperial City to be relevant, they need to add more content to make people want to go there...else after Orsinium goes live, that whole zone will be dead and nobody will buy it in Crown store.

and Orsinium is coming pretty soon and looks a lot better than IC.

Completely agree. Hmm do I want to PvP in IC for a few hours and have a good chance of nothing whatsoever to show for it or go to Orsinium and have guaranteed progress? Decisions, decisions.

Some players are just too lazy to pvp ...

I read this and I laughed ... very hard.

You realize this is a game, right? You know? Like, that thing you do after you work for 35+ hours a week and then go to the university and study so you can eventually become a contributing member of society rather than some freak living in their parents' basement, talking about how they need "alone time," and mooching off their working friends - but all the while bragging about how freakin AWESOME they are ... at a video game.

But I'm sure that's not you. Really.

To the OP: That does suck. Particularly the part about leading the boss to drain your health. This is one of the reasons I won't spend a lot of time in the IC.

I think it's pretty idiotic that someone can land even the weakest of Light attacks, and so long as it's the "killing blow", that person gets pretty much all the Stones you've managed to gather. They really do need to make it so that enemies only get the Stones if they do more damage than any NPCs or something. Otherwise this sort of behavior is only going to continue.

Anymore I just go to IC on Axe, when EP has access. It's much less of a headache that way.

    Of course there is.

Aggro-ing a sweeper (one of the major wandering bosses) to finish off a ganker or even to disrupt an enemy zerg is as much a part of IC as ... ganking folks when they turn in quests. In both cases, hilarious from the "doing it" perspective, frustrating and not easy to deal with from the "receiving it" perspective.

The stone loss is much too high IMO. Went with a group to do some PvP in one of the districts last night and all 3 alliances were there going at it. Our group started doing well, stayed alive for a decent amount of time with good coordination. Then BAM one death and nearly all that effort erased. One death and almost nothing to show for it. What's the point?

It totally sucks the fun out of PvP. Should I head to the bank every 5m to bank my stones? Lame.

How much sense does it make that the safest/best way to farm in a PvP area is to go mob killing and avoid other players?

    Yes pretty much this.

I gave up on IC after playing the PTS.

ZOS did listen to some feedback, but the major feedback they pretty much ignored and went ahead with the TV Stone loss rate and leaving the city ungated, leaving most of Cyrodiil(s) a ghost town.

Unless they make major changes in most campaigns (and soon) they have lost many PvP players.

Might wanna check the latest PTS patch notes then, they want the PvP crowd out even faster now.

Yeah have had my share of fighting gankers some did well some didn't but.... Even though I feel the OP situation needs some restriction on how much of the killing is required to obtain a players stones, do I think they will implement this ?.....NO! So as was said before bank TV stones regularly and keep a eye for the gankers( who are so lame they need to use npc to do their work). And If you solo a lot in IC like a lot of us do all I can say is stay strong bro! Actually my first real pvp experience was "wizardry online", where open world pvp with looting was going on, I simply got used to the risk/reward which at first I kind of hated it but after time went on it became more fun. My old man would quote Kenny Rogers and say son you got to know when to hold'em and when to fold'em.
