Lmao ZOS said it's intended. @Master_Kas please learn what trying to cover your ass is since your a noobCuz no matter what ZoS says, they stated the first time animation cancelling came around that it was NOT intended and they will look into it, found out, they cannot fix it due to having to either redesign the ENTIRE combat system, add a GCD to EVERYTHING, or make attacks that are cancelled do a portion to no damage, all three options being very bad for the game. So instead they decided to try and cover their arse and hope people will forget what they first stated on animation cancelling, that its an exploit, a very MACRO-ABLE exploit.
Please dont tell me to learn anything, seeing as I played mmos 3x longer than you or anyone else from the WoW generation. Animation cancelling is what mostly killed DCUO, and its gonna continue to kill things for this game here as its causing more and more players to quit.

Add that on top of the generally unimpressive rewards for campaign completion, and PvP feels boring and useless as a whole. It is by far the most disappointing aspect of ESO for me.
1v1 - fine
2v2 - fine
10v10 - fine
20v20 - fine
50v50 - ehhh this is still fine but its starting to lag up
20v10 - fine if the 10 are strong players and the 20 are relatively weak
90v10 - what in the actual hell, and whats worse is that this has become the NORMAL mode of play on most campaigns. Whole goddamned factions stacking everyone together on each objective. wtf

Imagine the potential of this game with some of the changes to Cyrodiil reverted or never have happened in the first place. Battlegrounds, arena's, duelling... but nope. They cared about the PvE and the roleplayers first. Then the console sellout and now they give the PC players a PvE grinding update every 6 months to keep them satisfied.
But yeah... lets sum it up:
- Zergs
- Lack of objectives
- CP and Telvar Stone grind
- Useless rewards
- Removal of camps, oil catapult snare made purgeable, meatbag healing debuff nerfed and my class nerfed to fuck every single patch, ground oil removed, balance being an absolute joke in general when it comes to everything tbh
- The developers not listening and Brian Wheeler seems to be going on a 3-month holiday every now and then, but then he suddenly appears out of nowhere to give us an update on PvP, then disappears again
- No cap on CP in PvP and no catch up system
- Weak sieges (they got buffed yes I know but they are still weak as fuck if you're fighting anything organized or when you're vastly outnumbered or trying to hold a defensive position) and since every pathetic zergboy's skillbar looks like this: AOE PURGE HEAL HEAL AOE there is literally no point in trying anymore
- Having 50000 buff campaigns
- Former Emp passives removed because apparently they were unbalanced and the CP system is not = ZOS logic
- Lets not talk about the performance cause every time I think about the performance in this game I feel my *** are going to explode out of frustration
To be honest not much of a point going back anymore, I came back after 3 months in preparation for the Imperial City but now that the only thing I was looking forward to has gone to absolute crap, there isn't really a point anymore. Not to mention that a lot of friends and guildies also gave up.

Yeah well most of our crew quit with 1.7, its a garbage update, little pvp much pve.
You'll find the remnants of short bus in Kholes i believe. To be honest I didnt want to find myself running around in some zerg guild on DC(since there are plenty of them) My good friend unruh on ep stayed to a traditional 12 man I went and played with(and will continue to do so If i log in) but this game just isnt as fun as it was in 1.4-1.6 It really just destroyed the small group mentality by weakening the potential of good players and its just more frustrating than fulfilling these days
