We need arena PVP!! I HATE huge group pvp and zerging, it's ***. Let us have our small scale. I was going to make yet ANOTHER post about this but you did. I attempt to make one every Friday and yet no response from a dev which is annoying. Can people get what they want? All game companies like to screw players over... Zenimax and Rockstar should be grouped together as the jippers.
We need open world pvp updates where you don't get rewarded for zerging, and includes some new objectives. Some nights it just feels like I'm running from keep to keep knocking down walls, move onto the next, etc.

there should just be one massive campaign, on XB/EU/Azuras for instance the DC have literally run it over now, AD topped it from day one, now Haderus for instance is all AD as they simply cannot be bothered to get out there and win it back, one mass campaign would at least make it equal.
An arena would be good, but you can imagine trying to get a decent set up, there would be 3 epic DPS NB's in there just running the place ( if they disabled the invisibility crap it would help ) it may also just ruin it for some people, who's the first person you're going for...Mr. Templar? you'd never get any templars in there they'd get run over again and again first and always, then the DPS and then the Tank as they do no damage, it would just end up DPS runs the joint,
1v1 isn't going to work either, what happens if you get two equal healers or tanks? it will never ever end.
Good idea and I want it, but you'd need to disable a lot of abillities just to make it actually finish, like all healing ( replace with sigils that provide healing? ) anything that makes you go invisible, and most likely wards too, just it's just offense vs offense better man / cat / lizard wins.

I believe that with minor changes to the arena we saw at one of the cons a while back can provide a much needed feature to the game.
Things to change about the Arena.
No king of the hill, or capture the flag style mini games.
Simple stupid can and will work
- All that is needed is an instanced arena so players can easily do their 1v1s,2v2s,3v3,Etc. v Etc. in a competitive leaderboard driven environment.
3 important aspects of the arena.
Ranking, Rewards, Battle Spirit.
PVP’ers can agree that we want/need a arena.
I believe that with minor changes to the arena we saw at one of the cons a while back can provide a much needed feature to the game.
Things to change about the Arena.
No king of the hill, or capture the flag style mini games.
Simple stupid can and will work
- All that is needed is an instanced arena so players can easily do their 1v1s,2v2s,3v3,Etc. v Etc. in a competitive leaderboard driven environment.
3 important aspects of the arena.
Ranking, Rewards, Battle Spirit.
Ranking
Based Win/losses
Ladder style ranking, not a pvp rating.
players would be grouped aganist each other based on total number of wins. for example 1-20,21-50,51-75 etc.
Leaderboards would display Wins-Losses-W/L ratio-Total matches
Leaderboards/ranking would be divided by Overall/Alliance/Class
Rewards
Having the arena allows the ability to have certain pve drops to be given for pvping
Currently players are forced to pvp in order to get the best gear in order to remain competitive at the top tiers of pvp.
// mainly apparent in undaunted pledges in order to get helms/shoulders but has now applied to the BIS drops from the dungeons.
//Each leaderboard tier would get a seperate reward. One for overall one for allaince and one for class. Would have a degrading value of reward, but that doesnt mean the class reward would be bad.
-Rewards would be ap,tel var stones, pvp gear, tel var stone gear, undaunted shoulders/helmets, and maelstorm weapons.

would require a unique battle spirit buff. that would not affect healing/damage shields as hard. Mainly referring to dk/templars.

I am a PVPer and I say NO, I play this game for the massive 3 way siege warfare where you actions effect the war. Not pointless Arena matches that do nothing but pull people away from the alliance war. Also this game has classes more balanced towards Alliance vs alliance fights not for 1v1
