Usually caused by me killing some mobs, then standing in the same spot whilst typing something in chat and NOT noticing when the mobs respawn on top of me!!

i mounted up, used retreating maneuver and rushed from alessia to the bridge between alessia and sejanus. i passed a friendly zerg on my way and was like "why are they on foot?", a second later i discovered why..... 10 enemy players just standing in the middle of the bridge waiting for my friendly zerg to come, for some reason as i rushed i thought for a second it's better for me to ride around them instead of through them. at that point i had too much momentum, so when i tried taking the slightest turn i ended up launching myself off the bridge like 50 meters away from it and dying from fall damage....

I used to play the game on the lowest graphics settings possible for probably the first 3 months of the game. Almost unplayable settings. After I upgraded I noticed a new "shield" effect that it seemed like everyone was using. So I described to someone and they said "are you talking about the 'blocking' indicator".... Up until the point I had never noticed any indicator, after the upgrade it was clear as day. I had always relied on the enemies stance to determine if they were blocking or not, but I still looked scrub (well, more of a scrub than usual) for asking.

I was with a small group in the sewers ganking about a week ago. Our 3 man team was in an intense battle with around 8 ad. Things were actually going pretty well, until I caught a glimpse of a trove scamp out of the corner of my eye... My reflexes took over and I ambushed over, killed the scamp while my group wiped. On a positive note, we returned and were able to loot the scamp, earning my buddy a hajeiko. Still getting a hard time for that stunt...

-Falling off cliffs. Love to see I'm not the only one who falls (haha pun) for the same thing.

-Removing clothing to upgrade it, then forgetting to put it back on. Usually, the way I find out is by riding my mount.

-Speeding through my menu and dropping things left and right and cursing myself later because I needed that. Will have to say this was more of a low inventory issue. Now, it's not a problem.

-Constantly trying to kill people in public dungeons because they dress too much like enemies.

-Hitting the potion button far too many times rather than the weapon swap. Seriously, though, ZoS: every developer puts weapon swap as an "Up" function. Why can't the buttons be swapped? Can't wait for the new X1 controller to allow button remaps.

-Forget to check my mail after hirelings make a deposit.

-Still having no clue how to get crit hit as a sorc.

-Using the wrong bait at a fishing hole even though I know better.

-Being too smug about being OP only to have a mudcrab jank me.

That's all you get. The rest are too embarrassing to admit in public.

Walking off cliffs and into mobs while looking at the map, I usually die shortly

Aaand accidentally using a potion when weapon swapping (curse my short fingers)
along with using my ultimate when attempting to loot things.

I was running an Elder Scroll back, safe with a support train of about 60 AD all around me, I had autorun on and was checking my map to get my bearings and make sure I was heading to the right scroll temple when I leapt right off of a cliff into the lava and died. About 30 of those AD died trying to get that scroll out of the lava before it eventually reset back in the enemy keep. Many AD cursed the name of Ezareth and I was the butt of many jokes. Most people thought I was just trolling them so I played along with it. We never did get that scroll back until the next day.

I'll never confess as to how many times I've died in that damn lava but I guarantee it's higher than my deaths to slaughterfish

Incorrectly remembering a Dungeon.
Inside the Vault of Madness you have a few "jump" parts. One of them lets you drop for about 10-15 seconds into a huge pool. I thought that one was one earlier, thus happily jumping to my death (and my whole team followed).

Another one inside Vault of Madness (though that was the first time i was there).
At the big jump having too much forward momentum (which made me slam on the coastline rather than in the pool)

I was on my vr9 nightblade fighting a vr16 nightblade.

I lost, all because I forgot to switch in two abilities. One was Fear, the other was Death Stroke. This nightblade was -awful- (even worse than I am, which is saying something), yet I still lost cause I forgot to slot those two abilities. Lost 800 stones to him ;-;

Wait, that reveals you? that would explain why those daggerfall guys got off their horses even though I was in sneak yesterday (readying cloak just in case they turned my way). good thing they eventually went like skyrim NPCs and thought it was just their imagination. I was just collecting skyshards and lorebooks before I hit vet rank and would have to go through intense vet servers to do so, I was not looking for PvP
