So that I can enjoy the game I like to play during the evening without getting one shot by 14k bonus crit rushes and other must-have shinies only attainable by hours / nay days of PvE. Damn that BoP!!!!

It´s fun. Now to be competetive you have to grind pve. CP cap but op sets introduced casual players will never get. Classic ZOS.

Hundings Rage and Julianos are both craftable and very powerful. Willpower/agility/endurance can be bought easy.

And well for the other parts its also not too big of a struggle for casuals...

however, if you want TOP gear like the new Master Weapons, then well hf grinding >.>

Since when you DON'T need to grind PvE to be competitive in PvP?

Crafting, CPs, Pledges (monster sets), Undaunted passives, IC trophy grind, bunch of dungeons...

Do I need to continue?

Imagine if getting paid $12-20/hr to grind for other people were actually a thing. Oof. Not sure you could play it for fun any more after that. It would be like being a Q&A tester.

It's kinda funny example, because no-life grinders with best PvE gear and many CP, will also get hit 14k+ by physical attacks in PvP

The pay-for-farming already happens sadly. Luckily some good sets can still be crafted, but there isn't enough parity with some of the dropped stuff.

The funny thing about it is, that the gear system is tailored towards hardcore players, while the combat system is designed for casual players.

That bonus was a bug. It's now like a third of that.
