Should not be spammable, simple as.
I'm a Templar, I can continuously spam Purifying Light to cleanse it, but why should I stand there and literally spam cleanse because of a Night Blade who is able to spam Mark Target?
Simple solution: Make Purifying Ritual have a small cooldown with Mark Target, or nerf Mark Target's effect. Costing more does nothing, they still spam it.

umm if you purify, and he marks again whats the problem? i dont understand. he has to waste his magicka re-marking instead of attacking, you have to waste magicka re-purging.
whats the issue? is it purge is so much more expensive? does purge have a cast time or something? Lightninvash✭✭✭✭✭well you can always get out of range or maybe even behind something like a boulder building a tree even so they cant target you purge it then go into stealth.... if you just stand there purifying that is pointless unless you are out of his sight0 -

If he debuffed you and you cleanse/purge/purify w/e you are no longer debuffed. And now both have a cool down. You are there status free. Doesnt that make his debuff pointless and work in your favor? how is that fair. If he could recast but you had a purify cool down the opposite would be true, and it would make the purfiy pointless
So the only way it can be equal is if it can be reapplied, else the debuff is pointless., or the purge is pointless. If you remove debuffs and are then immune to dibilitating effects, (presumably all from the same skill?) you have just rendered all debuffs pointless. as well as curses, magicka detonation etc.

✭✭✭✭✭Marking a target costs the nightblade as much magicka as a Concealed Weapon attack. And twice as much magicka as a Funnel Health attack.
He's being an idiot spamming his mark only to have it removed instead of using his resources to do something more productive. And how is this any different from somone spamming the destro staff debuff (which has no cost, BTW)? So, what, you want to "nerf" mark target to save that guy from his own idiocy?

✭✭It's not about "Oh you could have done this, or this" I do LoS all the time, I do do that and this and that, that's not the point.
In a 2v1 for example, if I'm constantly snared until I have no stamina while the NB keeps up Mark Target, I may as well go AFK and watch Dr Phil or something.
In a 1v1 vs a NB, I rarely lose, unless they keep Mark on me and then fear/hysteria, swish swish. I even kill NB's while Marked, that's still not the point...

and every combination you can think of...
until one of the two wears down (no Mag left), or is distracted, or is outmanoeuvred, or gets help from a comrade...

✭✭Lol okay maybe shouting NERF was uncalled for, but generally I was wondering why there isn't any cooldowns, especially on snares, never mind mark target.
Snares don't active cc immunity, if you don't think that's a problem, then you're unaware or you're responsible for immobilize-spam with your lil groups.
I already stated that no one would agree anyway, and it was aimed at 2+ v Me, but then the argument comes in "Why are you trying to solo more than 2 players?" I reply: "Why not?" the generalized reply: "You're an idiot then!" I reply: "It's not hard to solo 2 or more players at once, UNLESS of course one of them literally spams Mark Target, causing you to stay defensive constantly while trying to escape/dodge roll/retreating maneuver out of a continuation of snares and slows until your stamina's drained etc etc
