Yeah... I know. Unfortunately. Debian has it's own... quirks. And their maintainers have screwed up majorly on some packages. Really, they shouldn't be editing the code if it's for something that isn't in their expertise.
One of the most known examples from when they crippled the PRNG in the OpenSSL version they were distributing.
I hope they've gotten better about it.

I even installed it on an old laptop when it was first released. It's most definitely a thing. ESO with a Valve controller might actually be a viable thing...0 -

It's a matter of what type of VGA you got. Nvidia or ATI will do fine
I got an ATI 7700 HD and I get 30-40 fps with openGL and all but water reflections maxed.
If you install playonlinux it will take care whatever ''fiddling'' you must do with wine else you must configure wine manually.

✭✭✭✭✭On a serious note, Windows 10 was a free upgrade for me and so far it is working out as the best Windows OS
for me since XP/Windows 7.
So many variables in the PC world.
