I've checked the thread out mate, but I've read a lot and looking for different opinions on everyone experience.

If you're looking for PvP, a good combo (but somewhat expensive) is 5 ravager and 5 Hundings. It works fairly well and can be tanky while still putting out some DPS.

I've got one for you that I currently run (which does extremely well)

I heavy 5 and 2 medium for stam/recovery in stam but the 5 heavy are all hunding rage while the 2 mediums are night mother.
2 Hand sword (is going to be) night mother to get that increase weapon damage. 1 hand sword/shield will be Hist bark (for increase armor since if you're using a shield you're most likely trying to mitigate damage).

2 hand bar = Flame lash, unstable flames, executioner, wrecking blow, and rally
1 hand sword/shield = igenous shield, dragon fire scale, burning talons, shielded assault (other morph is better), and coagulating dragon's blood.
you need a close the gap knock down ability hence the shielded assault from the 1 hand sword/shield tree.

All my enchantments on my main armor are currently stamina but the other 4 will be magicka so I can keep using those magic based abilities.
My jewelry I plan to have 3 agility so I can obtain the weapon damage bonus on them along with the stamina as well.
I can make a video on how my setup works but I almost always win a 1 v 1/ 1 v 2, 1 v 3 depends on who's engaging me and etc.

I ran 5pc hundings + ravager pre-IC and it rocked. After the IC update I found it didnt do so well due to lack of sustain, for me personally.

Been trying alot of setups and have had luck as long as I get around 20k+ health in pvp, 2k stam regen and around 20k+ magic and physical resist after buffs. Then try to get your weapon damage as high as you can. i run mine around 2300 after buffs and do just fine but more would make me OP.
